This epilator works amazing and it does what it advertises!! It’s super easy to use and it pulls every single hair out, no matter if short or long. I’ve been using it after showering, since I personally think it hurts less. Battery lasts days! It does make a little noise, but not to the point where it’s annoying. I am a hairy girl, and I would see my hair already growing back by the next day when using a regular razor. But with this epilator, I stay completely hairless for almost 4 days!! And it is also super easy to clean. I would definitely recommend getting it if you want high maintenance to be low maintenance.

I love this epilator! The packaging and product are very pretty! I loved all of the different options I had with blades. It even came with a cleaning brush! I was able to remove all hair from the targeted area easily. After cleaning a large area I had power for hours after. Also the humming noise was very subtle, which is perfect if you live with family and need privacy.

On the fence about this Silk Epilator.. it does get the job done and effectiveness is there but man oh man does it hurt. It does yank the hairs out, it almost hurts as much as waxing. Not sure if I’ll continue using this just because of the pain. It does come with two extra attachments to be able to adjust to your comfortability. Low noise level. Comes with a plug in as well. Overall design is nice and a small device easy to hold in your hand but be ready because this is.. pain on another level! Maybe I will just keep with my regular razors..

I highly recommend the product if you have sensitive skin I recommend not to do it dry. It is very easy to charge and has a good battery life and you can hardly feel it when using it. Pretty new to the epilator scene. Reading the handy dandy handbook made me wonder if I needed a shot and a beer before hand. Like any sort of beauty…there is pain. But not that bad. I definitely recommend if your hair is longer to do a maintenance shave first before using. This epilator comes with a charger and the charging light in the front keeps you in the know for a charge. Not the quietest thing in the world has two settings and even the low one sounds like a quiet lawn mower.

Ok this is not for the weak! I know the more you use it it’ll hurt less but DAMN! What I’ve found is I find it less painful when used in the shower when your skin is nice and warm and with shower gel. I like that there is a light so when you are in the darker shower it’s super easy to hold and see where you are pulling out every little hair too. I’ve also found that I get less red bumps when used in the shower vs dry. Moisturize extra as soon as you are done! It’s a nicely made product with different speeds and attachments but bc of the pain not sure how long I’ll keep using, but I am going to try to keep using to see if it does get more comfortable. So use at your own risk, maybe have a glass of wine beforehand haha

This product is great I had shaved three days ago and my hair is already grown back so I wanted to try this. It’s simple to use you just charge it for an hour. The light flashes while it’s charging and once it’s charged it either turns off or it’s just white. But there’s two modes a slower mode and a faster mode both modes work great. I thought it would hurt but there’s barely any pain and it takes the hairs right out of the root even the small little hairs. I used it dry but it does work In water which is great. My legs now feel very smooth. It also comes with two heads a massager and a normal one and a brush which came in handy to clean the hairs that went in. Overall it’s great I will continue to use it.

My husband asks me to tweeze, shave, or wax his back because he doesn’t like the back hair that has started growing in. This product appealed to me as an alternative to those other tedious methods. I like the design being minimal and while at first I didn’t understand the addition of the light, it ended up being very helpful. My husband described the feeling like tweezing and said it was only painful on longer hairs. The process was easy to follow and my husbands back feels much more smooth now! Since it is our first time we will follow the directions and do it once a week for the first month!

It will be perfect if it’s not painful. It works! I followed the instructions to a T and with some practice, I was able to get a smooth "shave" but as others have stated, it is not painless. However, my legs are still smooth a week later so I'm on the fence still as to whether that pain is worth it or not. I don't wax because I don't like how painful that is so take my review with a grain of salt - if you can handle the pain and live by the motto "beauty is pain" then you will be just fine and this product will benefit you for sure! However, battery lasts long, easy to clean after use and not too noisy.

Braun Silk-épil 5 Epilator is a great epilator! I have always trusted Braun quality. This is top notch. Definitely not the latest model of epilator, but still works great. Of course epilation is painful. Beauty requires sacrifice. But if you do it every week, you will have much less hair and the procedure itself will take less time. It charges quickly and the battery lasts quite a long time - long enough for any session I have done. Overall, very good value for money. Highly recommended.
