Braun’s ThermoScan 3 Digital Ear Thermometer is so handy for taking the temperature for our whole family! It was an easy, comfortable fit in the ear canal for myself, my 4 year old and 4 month old. The thermometer reads very quickly and I love how the number of beeps analyzes the temperature result! One beep is a normal temp (up to 99.3 F) two beeps indicates fever (99.5 F or higher) and three beeps indicates a high fever (101.5 F or higher). This thermometer also comes with disposable hygienic shields to keep the unit clean and ready for the next use!

I loved that it came with 21 plastic sheaths as well, to keep it sanitary. I think they will last through at least a year of temperature checks. I used it to check my 5 year old’s temp and she didn’t mind it at all. I was worried that it would be uncomfortable in her ear, or that the beep would be too loud when in the ear, but she had no complaints. We got this thermometer from influesnter and Braun for free to try out and give honest feedback and it could not have come at a better time! I was just discussing upgrading our thermometer for our toddler. I love the fact that this goes in the ear to get a temperature, I feel it's a lot more accurate than pointing one at a moving toddler. It also comes with a little case to hold the thermometer that can go up on the wall if you'd like. It's super simple to use it comes with batteries and is ready to go, it uses disposable covers you change before each use and it has a button to discharge the cover easily. I love the fact it has disposable covers to stop the spread of germs. It only comes with 20 so you'll have to keep buying them but it's so worth it to know it's clean!

Braun ThermoScan Ear thermometer is convenient, easy, and quick to use. I pressed the power button and attached the lens filter, then placed it in the ear and pressed the start button. The thermometer will then beep and read the temperature. After you finish taking the temperature, press down on the blue eject button to release the lens filter. Throw away the lens filter after each use. Braun ThermoScan Ear thermometer is more accurate than forehead readings. Braun ThermoScan Ear thermometer can be used for infants, children, and adults. Two AA batteries are included. I would recommend this product.

Having kids means you always have one on deck but aside from the old fashioned ones that go in the mouth, they were the only ones that ever seemed to give an accurate temperature. Thank you Influenster and Braun for the complimentary product. I have actually used Braun thermometer over the years and I can attest to its reliability and longevity. This model is particularly handy as it stores easily in the included case, where there is space for keeping clean tips. The tip eject button is right under the tip which makes it easy to eject tips right into the garbage can. Thermometer measures temperature in 1-2 seconds, so it is perfect for babies and small children who are impatient. Also, the ear temperature is almost as accurate as rectal temperature in babies (but a lot easier to measure). I use this thermometer for my entire family and I have never had any problems. It is always accurate and fast. Battery lasts forever too.

It is extremely easy to use and the display is simple to read. I love how this particular thermometer can be used on infants, children and adults too! This is now the thermometer I keep in my kids to-go bag (along with Tylenol/ibuprofen and oh so many snacks). I would recommend this product to anyone (whether or not you have children). It is always important to have an accurate thermometer in the home and on the go.

My kids can’t sit still long enough for the typical probe thermometer and then for the forehead ones I don’t feel that they are as accurate. I’ve had such mixed readings and it’s hard to be sure how high my kids fevers are which for a 1 year old I really need it to be accurate. So easy a toddler could do it

Cold and flu season is upon us, so this was the perfect timing to have recieved this product complimentary in exchange for my honest opinion. While we have been lucky enough to not have experienced any fevers in our house yet, it does not lessen the fact that this product is sure to make my life much easier. With toddlers, taking temperatures can be a fight. But not only is this so fast and accurate, my kids didnt mind it at all. In fact, both my girls (2 and 4) wanted to and were able to take their own temps! I love that it comes with 20 hygenic caps, and it is such a hassle free tool. I will reccomend this to everyone!
