I am so glad I splurged and got my kids a good ear thermometer. It’s so much easier than wrestling with them holding one under their tongue or armpit. It is quick, about 2 seconds. Fairly accurate, sometimes it varies by up to .5 degree so I check twice, three times if it’s vastly different. Definitely recommend!

We use this thermometer at the preschool I work at and I liked it so much, that I bought one for personal use at home. I like that the reading is super fast, not sitting and waiting forever for a beep. Little kids can sit patiently and get a temp check without wiggling around.

A must have for every household

I was excited to try this due to my thermometer recently dying, that was a Braun which I have had for around 15 years so knew the name well and that the quality was very good.This is very easy to use, it's the same as what the GPs use so you knowbits accurate and precise. It's great that it's hygienic due to the little ear caps that you replace after each time you use it. Very simple to use, pop it in and press the button.I also like the traffic light system for if the temperature is normal, slightly high or high.Impressed, would recommend that every household has one. Especially more so since we have a pandemic, it's always best to be thorough.

Accurate and easy

In every household should be a thermometer, especialy if you have a kids. But, checking temperature for toddlers could be stressfull for all. This Braun ear and forehead thermometer are so usefull and excelent - as it have two ways to check temperature, and just needs to take top cap for checking in eardrum or leave cap and check forehead. Amazing is, that results comes in seconds, no disturbance for child and parent. It also have a memory, thats very helpfull for tracking temperature changes during ilness, a screen also indicates with green, yellow or red color, what means temperature level. When reading is done, it beeping to let you know it's done. Completely great tool in my household, what makes life more easy, especialy when someone is poorly.

I was so excited to receive the braun thermo it came in loverly box neat and packed nicely.Opening the box i noticed the instructions was so easy to read and gives you right temperatures your body should be if its to high. I also noticed it came with a top to cover the ear peace so can keep it nice and secure It also came with extra disposable ear pieces in a box.After turning on the braun it was already packed with batterys and so easy to use the lights come on to tell you its on. It light up blue while cheaking your temperature and beeps when you have cheaked the temperature. I cheaked mine to see if was working my temperature was normal. Great product

This is a very simple, easy, user friendly thermometer that gives accurate results. When being switch on it also checks that it had a cover over the tip of it doesn’t it won’t read which I like. It also lights up when first switched on I found this a big help when trying to check temp during the night. When you go to check the temp press the button there is a then 3 lights at the top that go green once it has read the temp this is a great feature as you know as soon as it’s done. The screen will also go green or red screen relevant to the temperature so if temp is ok then green or to high red.

Highly Accurate

I highly rate this Braun Thermoscan 6 thermometer. Very accurate, very easy to use but the feature I really like is that it has 3 different colour lights for indication of severity of fever. Also the light is very handy for checking the children's temperature during the night. The product itself is a great compact size with a handy cover to keep it clean and protected.A must have with young children.I would highly recommend this thermometer.

I am very happy to of finally found an accurate thermometer that is easy to use on my whole family and is hygienic too! My wife suffers from terrible reoccurring ear infections and my son is waiting to have his tonsils removed because he suffers awful tonsillitis and has seizures when his temperature spikes too high (this happens often and always requires a hospital trip) team them with 3 other school age children and a teething baby we use the thermometer a lot! Up until we got this one we had a forehead contactless one, but it wasn't always accurate and the readings were all over the place, this was more obvious when we would take my son's temperature after a seizure and when the ambulance would take his temperature straight after. The thermo scan reads accurately, the readings the ambulance get and ours are now the same, my son recognises the device as one that is very similar to what they use in hospital, especially with the disposable tips that have to be used. Meaning he is happier to have it used on him too! The hygienic disposable tips are great for my wife, with her ear infections she gets very high temps that we like to keep a close eye on, we have usually steered clear from ear thermometers as obviously we don't want to spread the infection, but this is so easy to change the tip on, and it cannot be used without one either, meaning that it is always covered and clean and once me wife has used it, she can dispose of the tip and it is ready for its next use without is having to disinfect and remember it's last use ect.The colour coding makes it easy to work out if a fever is present rather than trying to remember what temp is what. With green being for normal body temp, orange being borderline/low fever and red being anywhere over 38° and being a fever. It makes it easy to spot at a glance and my son knows just by looking too (if he sees orange or green he is reassured he is ok.)I have used on our 13 month old baby daughter too, something that is not an easy task usually, but I managed to take her temp with no fuss both when she was awake and asleep as it is really quick to read once in the ear and it doesn't need to go too far in for the reading meaning she doesn't have to sit still for too long.Overall I cannot see us changing to any other thermometer now, it has had so much use since we got it, with both my son and wife being poorly in the last fortnight, and obviously with this COVID situation at the moment it's important to keep an eye on our tempretures. The Thermo scan has not let us down once, nor had the battery's ran out (although being standard AA's means if they did we always have a supply of them in the house rather than them being a fiddly and barely used watch battery or similar.)I would recommend this to anybody who is needing one for everyone in their family and wants one that will last.

Simple and accurate

I have been through so many thermometers I've lost count. The problem with most is they're not very accurate. I'm so glad I have this now and I will be sticking with it. It is so easy to use and comes with simple instructions, just press the button and literally right away I get a the result but this is even better than that as it comes with lights. Green if your ok,yellow if you have a fever and red if you have a high fever. It also comes with replacement heads so that's a bonus. Overall very happy with it
