I’m a nurse, bit skeptical of the accuracy of an alternative brand I have. But this one is a winner, very gentle in adult ears, ease of accurate use for angling to get an accurate measure. Great timing, purchased before having our baby, the whole house ended up getting COVID, so super reassuring to have this. Very simple to use, and easy memory recall function. Got it on special, the price reflects the quality. The beeps are notable, but not as obnoxious as some models,

I am soo impressed with this ear thermometer! It’s easy and most importantly accurate. The thing I worry about is whether it is telling me the right temperature, and this one does! An absolute baby shower gift idea! Temperature has different ranges from newborn - adult, which you set accordingly. Also has the different colours. Green, temp normal, yellow/orange temp moderate and red means fever. If you are trying to work out whether to buy this, you will not regret it. Money well spent and will last for years/ through many children!Got it on a one day sale through PB Tech which was a MASSIVE saving! Love it, 10/10!

Great product. We've been using it for almost 2 years, so it is good quality. Never had to second guess the accuracy, even take it along to the doctor’s office to test as they have theirs calibrated every so often and comparing it to other thermometers we've never found any discrepancies. The age settings and different coloured backlights also make it easy to differentiate whether it really is a fever without first googling what temp a fever is again. The kids think it is a game and really happy when their ears are green. The parents too :)

Amazing product! Wanted something to give me clarity knowing my newborn’s temp was ok especially when a rash came up on her body I was able to cancel out her having a temp thanks to this machine. I love how you can select which age group your child is and how it lights up green so I know her temp is in a good ranngr. Definitely recommend
Worth every dollar. Have purchased other brand thermometers before that were never accurate. This one gives accurate readings every time and is an essential purchase for any parent to help navigate winter ills with your little one, I highly recommend it
Quick and easy to use, and you have the confidence that it's accurate given medical professionals use it. Uses standard size batteries unlike some of those cheap oral thermometers. I did several measurements per day as I tracked my fever as a side effect post my Covid vaccination, and it worked well.
We purchased this for our newborn and was getting inconsistent readings. When the thermometer read a fever, we rushed baby to the ED, just to be told he didn’t have a fever and that ear thermometers aren’t accurate for babies and best to use an underarm one. Given that we got this specifically for the baby, it seems a bit pointless.
I bought a cheap ear thermometer. Inaccurate. Bought a forhead thermometer that was expensive but useless. Then i purchased the braun thermoscan 7 and it is brilliant. Easy to use and so accurate. My 12 month old had a fibrile seizure thanks to inaccurate thermometers. Not any more. So satisfied now. Recommend this brand. Also bought them for my partners childcare centre because of their accuracy and ease of use
I have been through so many thermometers, after four children. This is far and away the most reliable and accurate thermometer. I have owned it circa 2 years and it is still functioning perfectly. I have had the children temp checked within half an hour at the doctors and the result has only ever been a few decimal places different. Never completely off.
This is a great device with speed and accuracy. I was drawn to the great reviews and awards of this product and it didn't disappoint. I have tested it against the one my GP has and the results are similar. If you are after a safe and accurate test for a baby/toddler this is the one. The only reason I took off a star is due to the extra casings that I will need to purchase in the future. Hopefully they can come up with a more environmentally friendly plastic casing that can also be recycled. Maybe a hardier plastic that you can stirilise yourself and reuse.
