This hair cream is luxurious and moisturizing. I have curly hair (3B) and a little bit goes a long way for me. First off I absolutely love the beautiful packaging and the fact that it comes in a study glass jar. This hair cream has a nice creamy, thick consistency but it does have a very strong, sweet scent that I’m not too fond of that is similar to gummy bears. Bread Beauty Supply sent me their Hair Cream to try out and OMG!!!! I have low porosity, colored 3c/4a curls so I am prone to frizz and dryness. After seeing mixed reviews about this truly being a 2 in 1 product, I was excited to try it for myself. I used it with and without a gel and honestly it worked both ways. When I used it without gel, My curls were very soft and defined with very little frizz. When I added gel, I had a gel cast but my curls looked amazing. In my opinion, it can work as a 2 in 1 product if you apply it to soaking wet hair. I also washed my deep conditioner out with cool water before styling and I feel like that helped give me a lot of definition and I didn't need to add a product with a super strong hold. At first I was a little concerned on the hold after watching YouTube reviews. I tried the whole line minus the oils. I notice that with this leave in cream you don't need your hair to be drench, only damp was enough for my hair. (I have low porosity, medium density- 3C-4A) After applications I diffused & it didn't take long to dry! I was pleasantly surprise by the hold/crunch it gave me. My hair looks amazing even on day 4 where I went to my moms bday party my hair was define & voluminous w/out the frizz!
Like many folks with thick curly hair, I hate trying new products because our hair takes so long to style we don't want to risk bad hair for a week.Usually I just suck it up and accept a week of not looking my best.But this product is so bad, I am going to wash my hair on day 2.First, it stinks.I smell like a Jolly Rancher factory.Sickeningly sweet.I put up with the bad smell of the Bread mask because it works pretty well.But this stuff won't quit.Beyond smelling bad:this product has left a thick greasy feeling on my hair.I have very thick, dry hair.Nothing has ever left this kind of greasy film.Worst of all,this product does nothing, nothing to style the hair.I have a big frizz ball, no definition.No curl. Just poof.

Lotta hardcore protein and bond treatments in my life right now but finding a leave-in that wouldn't leave my hair limp and heavy but still give a lot of moisture has been hard, until I found this product! It's AMAZING. My curls have started springing up more and more each time I use this so the elasticity is improving and so is the feeling of my hair (not rough or frazzled) and it gives amazing slip while applying it too!. Decided to branch out from my usual curl cream and try this one as it's slightly cheaper than my usual one. I haven't used it for long yet but so far I like it, it smells absolutely incredible and gives good definition to my curls while keeping them soft. The -1 star is because I do find it leaves a slight greasy look to my hair compared to my usual product - even after scrunching it out - so I've been avoiding using much on the roots of my hair and it seems a bit better. A little goes a long way with this but I do have very fine hair so it may vary for different hair types.I think I will continue to purchase this in future.

However, the fragrance is awful and enough for me to not use it. The smell is not refined at all - reminds me of candy. I would've probably liked that smell in middle or high school, maybe. It's so strong, and I was really wanting to wash it out because of it. If they made a better smelling product, I'd probably use it all the time. Texture was nice - not too thick or watery. Packaging is super super cute! I also like that it's in a tub rather than a squeeze or pump. It makes it easier to use when styling your hair. i recently purchased this product hoping i could get away with only using one product for my hair instead of 3-4. my hair (medium/thick 3b/3c) loves creams and this product has enough moisture and hold for my hair. love it so far. i'm not sure if it lasts a whole week without needing to add more product, maybe you could add a little gel for more longevity if that's what you're looking for. for me it's perfect on its own, couldn't recommend it enough :)
