Short story I believe Petbarn can do better in prices and should check more often the quality compared to the prices. '

Do not recommend! Do not be fooled with the budget friendly, large bag. In the end the benefits are minimal. This litter has the most horrible odour control, the clumping is so bad the wee will just spread and absorb with it all and the litter crumbles so then you are throwing out way more than you should, such a waste. We have two kittens that use covered litter boxes and the smell is so terrible and strong even with the cover that it will give you a headache and spread through the whole house even with frequent cleaning. Been using this for a few months to properly trial it and nope! Better to get a good quality natural litter. We will be trying tofu litter next and hopefully it is better than this!

Cat litter could be less in price because it needs to be replaced every 5 or 6 days

There are few cat litter on the market and although they aren't quite safe for cats they still cost more than their value for the product. Breeders choice may be one of the safest but still the price of purchasing the product is way to high for the value if it. Having 3 cats to I use 3 cat litter but still after 6 days maximum although the cat litter goes cleaned after every use means after the cat had made their business the cat litter goes scooped, means the big business goes removed. This is important to keep the cat litter free from unpleasant odor. Although all the work still after 6 days the cat litter needs to be replaced with new one, obviously after washing out the container. My point is the cat litter is way to high in price when you consider you need to ... MoreThere are few cat litter on the market and although they aren't quite safe for cats they still cost more than their value for the product. Cost effective, hides odour well
12 November 2023

I was at first reluctant to buy this product seeing the reviews about the smell, but after giving it a go I've noticed no odour at all! (I clean out the box twice a day so maybe that's why).I've used the kitten version of this litter previously so was a bit surprised at the difference in shape/size as this is more pellet like, but this is still great considering the price. It doesn't track much, especially with a litter trapper mat underneath.I'm also at ease knowing it's non-clumping, which can be dangerous if my kitten ingests any.

Eco & Pet Friendly

Buy it for my cat's. Environmentally friendly recycled paper litter pellets that are non toxic or crystallised. Easy clean up for cat fecal matter. Pellets stick to matter and easy to scoop. Discolouration and damp pellets from urine makes it easy to recognise used litter. Simply scoop - and dispose of. Scoop clean the litter regularly/ daily for best results.

Fairly Good
7 May 2024

I bought this in hopes it would be better than crystals and i'm pretty happy. It definitely does not clump, my cat luckily leaves his pop on top so i can just scoop this right out. The wee soaks in quite well, again not clumping. I did notice after 2 weeks of no changing/ topping up the wee does start to smell however i use the scoop to mix around. I will probably on the 3rd week empty and start again, maybe using less each time. It better than crystals so i'm happy.

It stinks
11 March 2024

It stinks. When I empty the litter tray after 5 days the smell of ammonia is so strong I feel like I'm being poisoned. I feel bad for my kitten for having to smell that. It has absolutely no odor absorption. It doesn't clump so cleaning up pee is impossible, I end up having to throw out huge amounts of litter. My cat spreads it around the house because it gets stuck in her paws. It is dusty, despite saying it's not. I can see the dust when I pour it out. My kitten often has some of the litter particles in her nostrils which I have to clean out.

It's good if you know how
5 January 2023

It?s the best value for money product so far, and it does sound environmentally most friendly in the market. However, it also comes with lots of downfalls.I found sifting litter trays are the best for this litter for cleaning purpose. The paper absorbs the liquid and breaks into mush, which goes below the soft tray. So you have dirty litter below the sift and clean litter above. My cat is somewhat a kicker, so the light litter does splash around. I found myself cleaning the tray serval times a day (right after use) to keep the smell down. I must change and clean the entire litter tray at least once a week for one cat due to the smell.I'd still use this litter if I'm home and available most of the day.

Lightweight, easy to change & value for money.
12 October 2024

I recently switched from crystal cat litter to paper based cat litter as I think the paper litter is safer to handle re: respiratory issues. Breeder's Choice is the best value for money. It is much lighter than other types of cat litter, making it easier to transport and change the litter box. I have mobility issues, so I highly recommend this litter for ease of use. I mix a little clumping clay litter in with this litter as paper litter doesn't adhere to cat poo like other types of litter does & sometimes it can be a bit messy. About 20% clumping clay litter in the mix is sufficient to solve this problem & doesn't add too much additional weight to the mix. My cats also like it better with a bit of clay litter mixed in.

Perfect for kittens
18 December 2023

The litter is excellent for my 5-week-old kittens. The size of the litter pellets is perfect for the kittens; they won't try to eat or swallow it. There is no strong odour when used, but I still use a little baking soda to eliminate all smells. It could clump better, but it still does the job. Easy to clean up. It's always a plus when it's environmentally friendly (recycled paper pellets). I would repurchase it!!!
