Brembo Ceramic Brake Pads (P50133N) - AfterPay & zipPay Available

Brake pads can be considered the “heart” of a vehicle’s braking system. Most of the components around or attached to them are designed based on the type, composition, and structure of the pads chosen by the automaker. As a significant part of a meticulously balanced system, brake pads need to be crafted to exacting tolerances. The Brembo OE replacement brake pads are specifically engineered to replace the original equipment factory pads. These OE friction pads offer exact fit, improved stopping performance, and long service life.

Tried these pads for the 1st time and have to say although they felt good while braking, the amount of brake dust on your rims was pretty excessive as well as surprising. Having to clean the rims off every couple of days was highly annoying. For a high quality brake pad, i was somewhat disappointed. Would not use again!

Bought 2 years ago for the rear brakes on a Jeep Grand Cherokee. That’s it, they lasted 2 years and not that many miles. Plus, they were not the same size as the OE+ plus rotors, so you have that raised rust edge on the outside of the rotor. Replaced with the matching OE+ pads and all is good. Looking forward to more than 2 years of trouble free service.

Disappointing fit

I would have given these pads 5 stars since they fit properly (2016 Kia Soul) and have very good stopping power. However, the retainer clips do not fit at all. I ended up using the old clips since they were still in good condition. The ones that came with the pads were almost a 1/4" too wide so there was no way to fit them on the pad frame. Disappointing, considering they were supposed to be a direct fit. The last thing you want to find out once you have your vehicle up on stands and everything taken apart is that you can't complete the job. Hopefully you'll have another car or friend available to get the right clips when you need them.

Frustrating Installation due to cheap retaining springs.
24 June 2023

The pad friction material appears to be good quality but the retaining springs riveted to the back that hold the pad to the position during assembly are cheap, cheap, cheap. I broke one trying to get it in.They have to be bent quite a bit to fit into the piston. They are formed very poorly compared to the original. This detail totally has ruined my confidence in Brembo. I used to think Brembo was equal to, or better than OEM but I will likely try another premium brand next time. Hopefully the Brembos will last Ok after the frustrating task of installing.

Garbage Pads - Don't waste your money
24 August 2022

I bought these under the allure that they were "Brembo." Don't kid yourself, there's a big difference between Brembo on high performance cars and these ones from China.Had to take them off after one month because they became dusty, squealy and groany (yes, they were installed with new rotors, hardware and grease and bedded according to their wisdom.) The backing plates were also corroded by then. Threw a set of AC Delco pads on and all issues were gone. Don't waste your money; stick with Akebono, Delco, Raybestos etc.

Improved braking feel. Great upgrade
4 February 2023

These replacement pads are definitely a little more “grippy” than the factory ones I replaced. I also bled out my brake lines so that may have changed the feel too but I do like the way these pads feel progressive and as you apply more pressure you can feel the increase in braking force. Overall a great upgrade and an improved braking feeling.

Not impressed
14 March 2023

Just because they are Brembo doesnt mean they will be amazing. I installed them on my Mercedes C300 and the brake pedal travel became a little more than OEM. These pads dont bite or provide enough stopping force unless you are at least using 75% of pedal travel. Mind you I also have Brembo brake rotors so there is no way the braking system is compromised.

Poor brake design, mounting hardware and performance.
21 September 2021

I bought these for my 2018 Dodge Grand Caravan as they were sold as Canadian Tire's ultra premium brake brand. The parts desk suggested I wouldn't need something this high performance for a minivan, but me thinking not to be cheap on brakes, I opted for the Brembo brake pads and rotors. When I first installed them, I was impressed with the braking performance. It was after about 6 months and about 5000 kilometers that I noticed these were starting to squeak. It was dead of winter so I left them but come spring the brakes got progressively noisier. Starting last week, I had lived with these brakes for just over 10 months and about 9000 kilometers but now they were squealing terribly in nearly the entire spectrum of braking. Starting last week, I had lived with these brakes for just over 10 months and about 9000 kilometers but now they were squealing terribly in nearly the entire spectrum of braking. I decided to change them out this weekend and when I took these pads out, I noticed a lot of problems contributing to the noise. You can see in the photos of the problems:-The shim separated from several of the pads which contributes to vibration and noise-Mounting hardware failed on several of the abutments which also increases noise as the clip is now wobbly, the piece in the photo was literally resting on the caliper bracket.-These pads dust up heavily, and the slots are completely full preventing proper venting-Chamfers are completely worn away, thereby increasing vibration and noiseI expected better at this price, especially since a lot of these problems in my opinion came from poor quality/design.

Unbelievably poor quality
4 August 2019

I bought these Brembo pads and rotors for my car since they were on sale and Brembo is supposedly a good brand. They still cost a little more than Motomaster or Wagner, but I like my car so I thought I'd spring for the better quality.I installed them on my car and after a couple weeks a terrible squeaking started, which is weird considering I meticulously clean and grease my brakes when I change them (caliper pins, abutment joints, back of the pads...). I opened up the brakes to grease them again, and noticed a considerable amount of wear considering the short amount of time. The squeaking subsided for a few days but returned with a vengeance. Reluctantly, I bought a new set of pads (Wagner) and installed them. I have never bought Brembo before and I never will again.

they worked good, until they didn't, replaced under warranty
17 September 2022

Got these same pads about 2 years ago. I did it as they supposed to be top of the line with a 3yr 60km warranty, and were on sale for just a little more than the OE plus pads.Only about 2yrs and 30k kilos on them and they were pretty much down to nothing. Not riding the brakes, not a lot of stop and go traffic, haul a trailer to my property about once per week, otherwise mostly highway type driving. They did a good job when they were first installed, but after about 2yrs, they were worn down to virtually nothing. The shop was good about getting the work done to replace them and getting me back on the road in a timely manner. In my mind they should have lasted a lot longer, so had them replaced under warranty.Hopefully these will last a lot longer, but if these ... MoreGot these same pads about 2 years ago.
