Not impressed. The mixing paddle is too small so it doesn't get the ingredients fully combined. I've tried 4 loaves so far and 3 of them have sunk and/or had chunks of unmixed flour in them. My latest loaf is a brick. So disappointing, I wish I hadn't bothered buying it. My previous breadmaker worked perfectly for just over a year before the motor gave up. Should have bought the same one again.

Bought at Harvey Norman about 20 loaves ago. Great machine, does everything expected. Unfortunately the paddle comes off and stays in the loaf about 80% of the time. This is with two-thirds white and one-third wholemeal flour. This creates a bit of extra work digging it out. I thought Breville would have made this failsafe by now. Good value breadmaker apart from this.

So happy with my Brevile Baker's Oven. It delivers as advertised and lives up to my expectations. I use it mainly on the dough setting as I mostly make bread rolls, buns, Pita bread and Pizza rather than loaves. I can have a batch ready from dough to baked in around 2.5 hours in summertime. Most breadmakers have a 3 cup (flour) maximum, the Breville takes 4 cups easily. I am happy to recommend the Bakers Oven to busy people seeking a reliable appliance for dough preparation.

Great machine, value for money. Easy to use. I have made a few different loaves in this bread machine and it is really quite simple to use. It's compact so doesn't take up a huge amount of bench space like other machines.I only had one issue with the kneading paddle being stuck in the bread pan after I made bread. I contacted customer service at Breville who advised me to take it to a service centre. However after watching a YouTube video they presenter advised to soak the pan in warm water which would soften the bread which was stuck under the paddle (I couldn't see it) and it would lift out. It worked and that what I do anytime the kneading paddle get's stuck. It would be great for Breville to add this to their Trouble shooting instructions page. Love this bread machine. I use every week never missed a beat. Used all cycles each one has worked perfectly. I have made bread from the suppled booklet and im inpressed with them. It is so easy to use. I aso have my own bread recipes which i use with my Breville bread maker with success. I can highly recommend this bread machine for newbies or experienced bakers. Definitely 5 star product.
We bought this as a replacement for our previous Breville breadmaker which died after years of faithful service. Although this model looks very much the same it shows some significant improvements. There are more choices on the program selection, and the machine seems to work much more quietly than its predecessor. The results of bread cooked in the machine, fruit buns which were mixed and brought to first rise, and even an experiment with gluten free bread all turned out very satisfying results. Highly recommended by very happy owners.
The Breville 'Bakers Oven' is very easy to operate and produces a good-sized loaf. The results, using a Laucke wholemeal bread mix, have been outstanding with a good crust and even texture. The crust options work well, but I find that the 'P' and 'H' options produce the best results. There are some interesting and varied bread recipes in the instruction booklet which I am also keen to try.
Pros: It makes hot fresh bread with minimum effort. Simply add water, then bread mix, then make a well in the mix and add dried yeast. Close the lid, choose your settings and in about 4 hours the house will be filled with the smell of freshly baked bread. YUM!!!Cons: Doesn't do the larger sized loaves very well. The dough rises too much and sticks to the inside of the lid, which then doesn't cook properly on top. For best results use 300ml of water, 450g Laucke Crusty White Bread Mix and 3/4 teaspoons of dried yeast on a French loaf and dark crust setting. Bewdiful!!!
Pros: Very affordable and great entry into bread making! So far have made 3 loaves and all have turned out well! Looking forward to making more variations and enjoying the outcomes! Compact so it fits in our cupboard easily.Cons: Load size is small compared to others, but it is compact so it fits in our cupboard where as the larger units would not. Apart from that, haven't come across anything bad.
I bought this machine two years ago and it is still going great. It is super easy to use and makes bread as good as any handcrafted bread from your artisan shop. I use it all the time to impress my dinner guests. I put the dough in to knead and then take it out to hand shape it before baking in the oven. It is foolproof! I have not made a bad loaf since I bought my Breville Bakers Oven. If you are looking for a bread oven, this is the one to get! Happy Customer
