I have an electric bed and this protector creases heavily in the process of raising my pillow and I have to go back to the bare protector to make my bed properly. I am glad I have it, it was 4 times the price of other fitted mattress ... We had been using Breville electronic blanket for the past 10 years. It’s one product we can’t live without in Melbourne in Winter! Absolutely loved it! Because of upgrading our bed from Double to Queen, we had to buy a new electronic blanket. This product heats up quickly that’s different from the one that we had used. However, when using it overnight, we have to reset the timer every time, unlike the previous version. And, the manufacturer recommends to set at the lowest temperature when using overnight: 1 on top and 1 below. Sometimes, we feel that the heat isn’t evenly distributed from top to bottom, unlike the previous version.Overall, we had a good online shopping experience.
I always hated sleeping with an electric blanket but this one is totally different. Using it under a mattress protector that, along with the fitted top of the blanket, means the warmth is far more subtly diffused. The different heat settings top to bottom add to the comfort provided.Well designed with the connections not intruding into our sleeping area.The controls are bulky and were, at first, a bit of a pain but I have mounted them on the sides of the bedside tables (using velcro tape) where they are easily accessed and out of the way.Very happy with the product.
I had always thought an electric blanket would be too indulgent, but this blanket has turned out to be my best buy this year. Great temperature control from hot to slightly warm, and no there's no discomfort. Also, the power usage is extremely low, my electricity monitor hardly shows a bleep. I never realised how good it feels to jump into a warm bed at freezing cold nights.The only drawback are the electrical cables to the sockets and controls that come with it, they're cumbersome and not very flexible and lie twisted all over the floor. I neatly unplug everything in the morning and tuck them all behind the bed during the day out of sight. A small price to pay for a really fabulous product. I'm very happy.
This electric blanket heats up instantly and is super efficient. It only needs to be on a few minutes and the bed is warm.There are a couple of things about it though we dont like. The cord with the panel is crazy long, so we've had to fold it and tie it with a rubber band to get it out of the way. The connection point on the surface of the electric blanket is bulky and its in the way. Its just under the spot for pillows, so I bump into it with my shoulder.The instructions say you cant turn it 180 degrees or flip it.
I came across this electric blanket when previous one suddenly died in Winter. I was in desperate need of a replacement and was very impressed with both the quick delivery from Myer and the quality of the blanket. It was easy to set-up and the controls are very user-friendly. I love the warmth the blanket has brought me during the cold Winter nights! You can also set different temperatures for the feet and body areas, as well as on different sides of the bed. The timer and its auto-switch-off function comes in very handy. Also, it comes with a 3 year warranty as an added bonus! Overall, I'm very glad I bought this electric blanket! Though it is a little pricey, it is definitely worth the investment!
It's pretty good but there a few of things which I still haven't gotten used to:1. If you leave it on manual the screens flash blue after several hours... and wakes me up. Annoying. I suppose I'm supposed to use the automatic off feature.2. It's not that obvious how to turn it on / off in the dark. The 'off'' setting is the middle setting which is just weird, and the screen doesn't light up straight away so I've often turned on the light to adjust it which is annoying.3. When you switch if off, the manual setting resets to the minimum heat level. So I need to reset it every night which is annoying. Note that the automatic setting may actually keep the setting. I'll try that. Maybe I should read the instructions.

Having limited experience with heated blankets I wasn't expecting much but was surprised on the first evening that it had the unexpected effect on my partner to cause her to cry.
