I love this juicer because it motivates you to drink healthier drinks because it makes the whole preparation process easier. I recommend a lot.

Made apple juice with some store bought apples that had started to get some mushy spots. Was pleseantly surprised with how easy this was to use! Probably took us longer to get the appliance out of the box and set up than to make the apple juice. Some of our apples ended up being to big to put in the shoot whole so we cut some in chunks and used others whole. So easy to use and separated all jucie out of them. Jucie was delicious and tasted just like apples. Cleaning up was also really easy and didnt take very long at all. Was nice the directions told you which setting to turn the juicer on for which types of fruits/veggies. Cant wait to try it again!

Breville Juicer British Columbia

Love this juicer. Powerful motor, does not disappoint. Assembles easily and super easy to clean, just make sure to assemble properly to avoid leakage. I was spending $10 per juice retail and I decided making my own would be more economical. It was on sale too which was a major bonus. Plus the health factor, my stomach is flatter after two weeks of juicing. Love this Breville juicer! Got it at Bestbuy Coquitlam, wasn’t in stock when purchased but arrived the next day, super quick shipping to store. Definite recommendation!

Drinking my veggies

I almost bought the Ninja “never clog” juicer but after watching a few YT vids which had less than favourable reviews, I opted for this Breville model instead. Kudos to my local CT for price matching this juicer as it was on sale at another local retailer and I paid $10 more for this than the Ninja one when the “Never Clog” juicer was on sale.I’ve made two batches of juice so far in the 24 hours since I’ve bought it (purchased 07/13/24). The blades in this thing blasts through any root vegetable you put in it and the motor showed zero indication of struggling to break down raw beets. I’m also very impressed with the amount of juice it extracts. I got just about 750 ml of beet juice alone out of three baseball sized beets (approximate size). I like some pulp in my fruit juices but the mesh filter prevents any pulp from going into the juice…but this isn’t a deal breaker for me. One concern I did have was when adding fruits and vegetables, would there be food splatter flying out of the chute but I can happily say I’ve only witnessed two or three very small pieces of citrus fruits come out the top before I could get the plunger in so this isn’t much of a concern either.The pieces are big and clunky, but do fit in the dishwasher (containers, blades/screen basket, plastic pieces) as they are top-rack dishwasher safe but as my DW doesn’t have a heat element in the bottom, it fits better down there. Just be sure to use the supplied scrub brush to scrub the residue off the filter basket (it may not seem like residue is there but it is) before popping it in the DW. Line the pulp catcher bucket with a small plastic garbage bag for faster clean up. The pulp felt quite dry so it seems like a lot of the juice was extracted.I’m new to making my own juice so whether this model is a mid-level or entry-level juicer, I’m very impressed and highly recommend it. I thought there’d be a recipe book included but surprisingly, there is not. Again, not a big deal as there are hundreds available on the internet or just make your own creations.

Leaks & doesn’t juice efficiently

I desperately wanted to love this juicer. My old juicer (a different brand) worked wonderfully for years but just slowly started getting more and more difficult to push produce through. I decided to “upgrade” to a Breville expecting to love it even more, but I don’t. I followed instructions to a T, but it splashes and leaks juice everywhere. I also get a lot of pulp that definitely could be juiced a lot more efficiently. So much so, that every time I juice I have to pull all the pulp out and re-juice it to make sure I’m not wasting juice (a fair amount of juice comes out a second time. The amount of juice I get compared to my old juicer is actually substantially less. I’m super disappointed; I really expected more.

My Juicing Journey - A Refreshing Revelation!

This is an incredible product because it's a time-saver. It's incredibly easy to clean, which is a massive plus. As someone who is health-conscious, I love that it's a healthier option. Poorly designed, not for constant juicing

I bought this Breville JE98XL to upgrate my Juice faountain Compact. Juice fountain compact was a gift and I juice a lot and it didn't work for me so I thought this JE98XL version and thought it would be the best and I was wrong. I will point out a few things that bug the hell out of me on this version, 1st when you wash the top plastic part pulp gets stuck in the plastic creases (where the dark part merges with the light plastic) and you'll never be able to get them out of there. Your hands can't reach it and neither can the sponge, it is covered but pulp gets in there somehow. It looks ugly and there is just no way for you to wash it, I tried everything. It shoots out the pulp without any squeezing, so I use the fast speed for soft fruits too. When you use the fast speed at least in the beggining the pulp is dry and later half of it shot out wet unlikethe slower speed. At this point the 3 stars I gave was because of the motor and overal build quality I guess. The rest is poorly designed.

Tips

It works best on hard root vegetable like carrot you can make a lot of carrot juice with some few carrots. Soft fruits like oranges don't work so well in the juicer because it's not a two stage ideally after the oranges have been juiced they should be compressed because a lot of juice is wasted. But it does apples quite good what you have to do is peel the apples first because the peel will block the screening and no juice will get out. So I use a simple little machine that I wind around which removes the core and the peel before I juice apples. overall a great first juicer!

I’ve been using it daily for a few weeks now. It’s the first juicer I’ve ever bought. I put it to the test, and it’s been great so far. I juice carrot, celery, turmeric, ginger, beets daily. The brush it comes with is great for the filter. Only thing is I see debris under a plastic part and I need to call. So that is the only negative. Otherwise, it’s been great! Really relly great
