This is the 4th filter for the Sage Coffee Machine that I bought from John Lewis at a competitive price. I generally keep the filter in the machine for 4 months and it does appear to reduce sediment compared to the older smaller filters used in Sage Coffee Machines.
I am gonna have to leave a bad review here since the filter is basically not working. The water is not going through the filter because it's a faulty one or just a cheap copy.The espresso machine worked with the old filter and without it. So I would expect a replacement from your side...
Hard to say whether this really makes a difference or not, but I have had my Sage Bambino Plus for over two years now and have no issues with the machine or taste of my coffee.Paired with regular cleaning and de-scaling, this is probably worth having if you want your machine to last a long time and not get furred up with limescale. Only criticism is that the filters are quite expensive for what they are.
A necessary purchase to keep our Sage coffee machine running efficiently. I'd always rather an appliance did not require ongoing costs - both monetary & in terms of plastic waste, but these filters do appear to do what they say & ensure our machine keeps turning our great coffee.
Perfect for my sage bambino coffee machine. There was no over the top packaging, simply open the bag and swop old filter for new, twist the dial to set the ideal replacement time to 3 months on average usage and click into the water dispenser.
We’ve been using these since buying our barista machine from Harvey Norman about 20months ago and just found out that we haven’t needed to as we have a filter attached to our cold tap, which filters out all the same things. Apparently it says in the manual that you don’t need to use them if you use filtered or bottled water, but I obviously didn’t read that far!Still need to do the descaling and cleaning of course.
