Just in love with my Breville for Nespresso Creatista Capsule Machine. I saw this machine in a relatives house, it looked easy to use & the coffee tasted fabulous. I had already made my mind up i was going to buy a Dolce Virtuo machine as i had been into the Nespresso shop and discussed it with staff. However on seeing this machine in my relatives home, i completely changed my mind! It makes all the different coffees that your heart could desire & the milk wand is marvelous. Machine is very stylish & is all integrated & does not need a huge space on your kitchen bench top.e

As a frugal student, I survived on cheese toasties courtesy of my Breville sandwich press (which lives on a decade later). This was coupled with instant coffee served in boiling Breville kettle water. Years on, I graduated to a Breville drip coffee maker and have now reached a peak in home caffeination with my Creatista. In between these upgrades I had flings with a Breville blender (my green smoothie phase) and an Air Fryer Chef which gets more use than my kitchen most weeks. What's evident is that I will always default to Breville as it has been a solid life partner.

I bought a new creatista plus from appliance online 2 weeks ago, to replace my old creatista plus machine which I owned for 6 years. The original machine was great but had a water leak issue so it was replaced with a new one. The new one doesn’t work the same. Firstly when I power up or down the machine it makes this electronic sound. And I couldn’t froth the same milk for my kids babycino like how it used to work. The froth that came out at max froth setting is just 1 cm at most when I pour into a cup. Not sure if this is a batch issue.

The espresso default temp might be a little low, but the machine gets milk really hot, and I drink a lot more cappuccino, and the like, than espresso.I think the milk wand works very well. It is spendy, for sure, but addressing the plastic and waste issues satisfactorily makes this the best pod coffee maker out there. Plus it’s dang adorable.
This machine has a poor coffee taste and it is not the coffee. I use Nespresso capsules only. It makes you descale every other 3-4 weeks and never finishes the cycle properly. I can't stand that the machine does not allow you to continue to make coffee until you can properly do it (for example, lets you wait until the weekend). Have had this machine now for 6 months and am absolutely not happy with this overpriced thing. I have had another machine forever, never had issues until it was old and done (after 10 years). Will never buy a Breville machine/appliance again.

I like a tall mug flat white, so I have found using the pod on Lungo, gives a longer draw, but still requires too much milk to fill mug, and I dont find the hot water is hot enoough, so filling with the kettle or zip boil does seem pointless. Work supplies non-branded pods, they fit, but at times I find any pod fiddly to fit into the slot. nice easy small foot print machine, but due to the malfunctioning when so new and the small personal issues, I'm cautious to buy one myself, its is expensive and wouldnt want to risk problems.
Machine is 6 months old. Does not heat and steam wand completely stopped working. When you push the button with a capsule, only cold coffee comes out. I contacted nespresso and the have refused to honour warranty on the machine. They say they believe I used non nespresso capsules on the machine that the warranty has been voided. I actually have been using the nespresso capsules they were just ordered under a different account. They will do anything to get out of warranty. Sunbeam support and delongi support are so much better stay away from breville.
I've been making cappuccino and latte drinks at home for about 20 years now. I enjoy a rich crema on my expressos and lungos as well as latte's that have a creamy consistency in the milk foam.I found it! Not only can I achieve latte art and creamy foam, but clean up after making the drink is easy-peasy. Wipe the wand in a few strokes, deject the coffee pod, blend the milk and coffee together and you are done. The wand self cleans with a short burst of steam.It just doesn't get better than this.
Bought machine after original died after 10 years.If I had to compare the original machine made better coffee hence the reason we stuck with Nespresso machine.Would I buy this machine again ? NoI would buy the cheaper NespressoThe plastic chrome scratches and looks cheapThe tray leaks water staining my bench top.The program screen is on top of the machine with means I have to pulls the machine forward to change settings unless yours 7 foot tall.The program screen is small and hard to read.My favorite coffee is short black and there is no creame of top.
