I’m generally not someone who leaves reviews, and this is my first time because I’m extremely upset and disappointed with the Crate&barrel whose design and style I’ve always loved, and their partner Synchrony Bank. On March 21st, I purchased this product (I’ve always been satisfied with Breville products and my review is 5 stars to them) When I received the package, the top of the oven/toaster was damaged and dented. I had to return it to the store and replace it by ordering another one in-store. For this purchase, I didn’t receive any rewards (unfortunately, I have a credit card with this company, which I 100% do not recommend). They told me I would receive the reward after two billing statements, and now, six months later, I still haven’t received anything. For this purchase, I didn’t receive any rewards (unfortunately, I have a credit card with this company, which I 100% do not recommend). They told me I would receive the reward after two billing statements, and now, six months later, I still haven’t received anything. I’ve called Synchony Bank and Crate & Barrel more than 15 times—yes, 15 times—and they keep saying that I made a purchase in 2022, which I returned which is why I haven’t received my current reward!!!!!! It’s absurd that they’re referring me back to two years ago. Fortunately, I have saved all the receipts and emails from 2 years ago. When I reviewed the emails from that year, I saw that not only did I not return anything, but I canceled that order and I didn’t receive any rewards for a canceled transaction. Despite sending all the receipts and emails from 2022 as proof, they still haven’t bothered to review them. I don’t need an apology from you, so don’t comment under my post with one. After calling Synchrony Bank 15 times and speaking to multiple managers, if you still can’t satisfy a long-term customer, there’s nothing left to say. I’m extremely dissatisfied with the fact that I have a credit card with you guys.

So this expensive countertop oven ($500) that's primary differentiation from any other electric conventional oven is the smart connection to the joule app. I used it often in the first 6 months but now it's really just a countertop oven that I operate directly without using the app. Most of the app features and recipes are not my style so this feature is not worth it for me.The biggest issue is that this oven with all its cooking features, most notably convection, air fry, and super convection will splatter fat/oil EVERYWHERE and the inside of the oven is impossible to clean. VERY frustrating since I'm certain that this is going to lead to the early death of the oven. I bought this oven three weeks ago as an upgrade from a competitor’s model. First and foremost I really appreciate the interior size of this oven. I am able to use quarter sheer pans, 9 X 13 baking pans, and a13” pizza pan which allows me to bake my own round pizzas. The oven interior has a very nice nonstick surface which makes it easy to clean. Both the oven interior and racks are built with similar quality of what you would expect in a full sized oven. Everything I’ve tried to bake and cook has come out very well. This oven has a “super convection” mode for air frying which works surprisingly well. When I air fry potato wedges they come out beautifully browned and crispy without having to shake the air fryer basket halfway through. This Joule oven can be controlled from a smartphone app or even Alexa. I’ve just begun experimenting with the app and it seems very useful. I just pick an ingredient recipe from the app and tell it to start cooking. The oven sets the recipe temperature and preheats. Once preheated it pauses and alerts you that it’s time to put your food in the oven. Some recipes even work on what’s referred to as “autopilot”. This appears to automatically take the oven through its multi-cooker phases. Plus with a two year warranty, this was a very good purchase for me. This oven will easily do everything my full size kitchen oven does, and then some.
