No problems so far. It's quiet. Turns off when set humidity level is reached and when water is low. Really like the nozzle able to swivel mist in the direction you wish it to. Large water tank unit so needs a refill only every other day if the unit is on for most of the day. The water fill point being at the bottom isn't a big deal for me like it seems to be for other reviewers.

We bought this to deal with Canberra dry winters, and we really wanted something with a quiet (night) mode, a remote and large (but sensible) capacity. It's quiet and has decent capacity. The touchscreen buttons are difficult to interpret and read, but that manual wasn't particularly useful. Refilling is a bit fiddly and it would be great if it had a top refill. We don't really use the remote at all now, and just keep it on night mode, so the additional settings, touchscreen and remote aren't particularly useful overall. There's nothing frustrating or problematic once you figure out how to use it. The price could be slightly lower, but reasonably if you can grab it on sale.

I’ve been using this for a few days now, mainly for my dog who is unwell so I’ve used it in the lounge room and the bedroom overnight.3 things are annoying. The noise of trickling water and the machine clicking over to on/off mode once it’s reached the desired humidity is rather loud when you are trying to sleep. I’ve actually had to turn it off after a few hours because it’s hard to ignore once you are focused on it especially. The night mode turns off all of the lights on the front of the unit, except for the tiny ‘moon’ symbol standing for night mode. Why, it’s not night mode for a reason, because I don’t want to see ANY lights. That tiny moon gives off so much light. (I’m a sensitive sleeper)The refilling from the bottom is kind of annoying. I want to know more about what each setting does specifically and what it’s good for, and it doesn’t really give you much. (Oops that’s a 4th)Otherwise it looks pretty fancy and seems to do the job but I feel like for the price it could have been better, like they’ve spent all their time on the touch screen and not enough on the functionality.

Well, it works as advertised. The machine is pretty quiet with a caveat of occasional water bubbling sound. It produces nice amount of mist so it will need to be put on a table or other elevated surface to ensure the mist dissipates before it hits the floor. It does have warm mist function but it will barely affect the temperature of your room. There's a spot for essential oil but it's rather weak in general as it uses passive diffusion and not mixed directly into the water tank. The base of the machine could be challenging to clean with small nooks and crannies. The 5L water tank have to be filled from the bottom, which has a stopper that also needs to be unscrewed, so it may be challenging for people with weak grip or arthritic hand. You also need to have a towel nearby as removing the water tank may produces a bit of water drips due to the nature of the design. The panel control is straightforward with an additional remote included.
As some other users have found, it can be messy to remove, refill and replace the water reservoir. Best to have a towel handy. The control panel requires fast and light touch to operate it, which is unlikely many other devices. Not easy to switch night mode off. The blue light in the water reservoir is meant to be on all of the time unless you turn it off, but in my case, it defaults to off. Not a problem though as the reservoir level is still easily seen. Device is quiet - much quieter than a far smaller vaporiser that I was using and that uses the same method. Mist is readily dispersed if device is placed under AC outlet or assisted with a fan. The oil diffuser function works well. Some users may find the water reservoir too heavy to move when filled (just fill half way instead if this is a problem). Night mode works well (turns off most lights). Once you get the humidity setting correct, the device can be very effective. I haven't used the remote control. It might assist with the issue of switching Night mode off. This product does what it claims to, and does it relatively well, plus a big bonus is that its water filter can be backwashed and reused many times, whereas some other brands require you to use a relatively costly disposable filter. I found that the humidifier quickly fixes the problem of too dry indoor air caused by A/C heating.
The cold mist humidifier has helped myself and my son during flu/cold times as we both suffer respiratory complications during viral infections. This unit has helped keep a stable humidity in different bedrooms. As like other reviews, the water container's lid is on the bottom and as such susceptible to leaking when removing from the unit to refill. We just use either a towel, baking tray or hard surface to sit the unit on when running. The screen is a bit hard to see because it sits behind a frosted surface however easy enough to interpret once you have used it a few times. I like the automatic feature. You turn the unit on and within a minute it has detected ambient temperature and humidity and adjusts to a a suitable range. I bought this machine a few days ago. First night I used for a few hours and then turned it off and woke up to paddle of water on my dressing table. I find you have to empty it straight after you use it otherwise it leaks. I’m not a person who normally leaves bad reviews but really disappointed with this product.
I bought this a year ago and have been using it on a daily basis. It does what it says on the box but there are some drawbacks that stop me from giving this a higher rating.Pros:- Ability to set targeted humidity levels- Night mode / ability to turn the lighting off- Can produce enough mist to cover a large roomCons:- Water pools in the reservoir in which the water tank sits, so to fill the tank without spilling water everywhere, you need to take the whole unit to the sink- Cleaning is a pain because the unit has a lot of nooks and crannies that get wet and you need to cleanWe aren't spoiled for choice in Australia when it comes to humidifiers, so if you need one, this will do the job, but be aware that the maintenance is a chore (and you need to do ... MoreI bought this a year ago and have been using it on a daily basis. Loved it! Was amazing! WAS...Everything was working very well, until 3 months after I purchased. Water was leaking from the bottom, it caused damage to the cupboard. The bottom of the water compartment had fine cracks causing the leak.I went back to JB HiFi where I purchased, but there system stuffed up with my digital receipt, eventually I tried too many times to access my receipt and it just kept blocking me. Unfortunately covid then started this year and I had a baby, so I lacked time to pursue getting it replaced under warranty.Very sad as it wasn't cheap and didn't last long at all. I'm writing this as my just over 1 year old Breville nespresso machine has now done the same thing. I'm concerned that this brand lacks quality in the plastic used for parts ... MoreLoved it! I am a lash extension artist and humidity place a huge role in the adhesion and longevity of the lashes. This humidifier has so many options, as well as a preset setting to keep the room at perfect humidity. The most that comes out is super fine and doesn’t leave any water residue. It comes with a remote which is perfect when I’m lashing so I don’t need to get up to turn up or down the humidifier. The warm mist option has been great during winter. I love adding my favourite smells to the fragrance compartment. Thanks for a great product!
