It is all you can expect. Good quality, temperature part of the jug still works. I wouldn’t buy any other one. This is my second one. The one before this got lost in a move, I’m sure that one even still works great :)) if you need a temp jug this is the budget option and the prettiest one

Breville Temp Control Milk Jug

I am still working on getting the right amount of milk in this froth jug. It's pretty small so I tend to overfill it. If it is very bright in your kitchen it is a little hard to see the changing colours on the jug. Other than that, it's well made and eliminates the need for the thermometer which is nice. The company is fabulous. Received the product within a week of ordering. Wow! Even during COVID! I will definitely be ordering more items from ECS.

A very helpful little addition to the Breville jug. It takes the guesswork out of getting the right temperature for each coffee. Easy to see temperature scale. A real bonus.

Does what it's supposed to but could be better

The temp control milk jug works as it's supposed to but here are my criticisms. The temp bar is at the bottom of the jug which makes it hard to see because while I'm frothing I'm looking into the jug to watch what I'm doing and can't see the temp at all and when I know I'm getting close I have to crouch down as it's still hard for me to see. My second criticism is the temp is only on the one side of the jug and with my frothing wand on the left side of my machine I'd prefer to hold my jug the other way around which would make the temp indicator not visible at all. I'll probably end up ordering another pitcher with a drop in thermometer.

Great idea if it actually showed the temperature (update: I take this all back)

I need to send it back. The second time I used the jug it worked. Since then it hasn't worked again. The outside of the jug can get scaldingly hot and start to burn the milk but the thermometer doesn't show anything. Hopefully I just got a dud one and they actually do work really well. ***UPDATE** I discovered that the jug was fine I just needed to wait a little longer when frothing the milk. If I wait long enough it actually does show on the thermometer and once it hits around 65C I stop the process and the milk is not burnt. I use it all the time now. I changed the star rating from 1 to 5 as it was appropriate.

Great jug

Great jug, does what we need and great with temperature on side. Works well with our coffee machines. I work as a barista so its a mini version of what im using daily. Its a good size for one coffee at a time, would prefer it to be bigger so could do two at a time. Over all works great and id get it again, its bigger than the one that came witn machine.

What drew me to this one was the temp gauge built in on the jug as well as the Breville brand overall, I have never had a bad experience with any Breville Product like I have other brands so Breville is all I buy and will continue to do so.This Milk jug’s sharp edge is fantastic for latte art for beginners or experienced baristas or even those who are a bit out of practice.It is a good size, enough for 1 mug of Coffee.I hope in the future you make this in a black (matte or patent) like the original milk jug used to come in and maybe even in a bigger size so if you need to make 2 cups of coffee at once.Nothing negative to say on this product and brand only positive and is a product I would strongly recommend ... MoreI am a Barista and am very picky about my milk jugs. Perfection in a jug! Love it!!

What can I say this is the best milk jug I have ever had. The temperature on the front of the jug means you heat the milk to the perfect temp every time. Absolute game changer for getting the best froth for your cappucino!!

So easy to use

Love it as it makes it so easy to get the milk up to correct temperature. Instead of having to juggle a thermometer or using touch while trying to get a nice textured foam, you just keep an eye of the lights at the side. When they are up to 70-75 the foam is just right and the milk is hot enough. Easy.

Very practical and useful (for its compact size)

Quite a nice little unit. Thanks to the temperature gauge on the outside I finally know what temperature I like my coffee to be! It works well. Personally I'd like to see a larger milk jug featuring the same style temperature display. I've found this jug is really only large enough to make a single large cappuccino at a time. But all in all I'm quite happy with it, would recommend.
