Whoa! This food processor is simply the best I've had. I don't know where to start.... It is fast, efficient, and quiet. Yes, a little cumbersome with its accessories, but honestly, now I have a place to fit all of them, so it's perfect. The base is quite heavier than any other food processors I've had, but it turned out to be a plus: the base won't budge from its place due to its weight, so there is no holding the base with one hand to remove the bowl with the other. I was so curious and excited about this; I've tried all the accessories already, and love them all. I diced carrots and cucumbers, sliced onions, shredded carrots, made dough, and some salsa. The bowl is very light, I can hold it easily in one hand, removing it from the base is so easy; it is large enough to receive 6 sliced onions (medium). I love how it stops automatically when I remove the top to add more carrots, onions...., it cuts so fast and is so quiet, I was really impressed, it works with me just perfectly. The slicer has a thickness option, which is genius! I diced a cucumber in about 6 seconds, and 5 carrots in 10 may be. It makes it so easy to prep. all the veggies for the week! Washes /rinses very easily for continual use for different recipes. Everything goes in the dishwasher, except one item. I recommend watching a video about the product at first, it makes it easier to grab how everything fits together. I can only recommend this product, and want to thank Breville for a product very well made and thought. The only thing I would change is to be able to dice a little bigger than what is offered. It's just a preference, but the dicer is one size only (pretty small square), and might not always fit your needs.

As vegetarians, we have resisted the slow cooker of our carnivore friends. Our interest in the SLOW FOOD movement has seen us resist the thermomix...what's wrong with taking time over the preparation of a lovely meal? This finds me very happy to discuss the merits of our newly acquired food processor from Breville. So what do we like about it?It's compact! Limited bench space is happily handed over to our Breville. It may remind me of the Tupperware Shape-O-Ball from the 70's, but I learnt a lot from that! I didn't even know I had started.It has a wide pourer! This makes a difference. Making soup is a winter mainstay and this makes it all a more successful pour from bowl to dish.It has a wide funnel! While I'm glad to have happy fat carrots, they need to get grated and they need to fit in the processor. Much wider than our previous model.The blade attachment: It's a good thing...it's very tight, so much better with liquid. Still working out how to safely detach it when washing, but happy that there is a secure fitting.

Wow, it's some food processor that does dicing, slicing, blending, and dough-kneading! The base has a good weight to it, and the entire unit at close inspection seems built very well and with high quality. Not one piece seemed flimsy. My favorite part is the caddy that holds all the attachments and blades. It's impressive. It took me 30 minutes to unwrap every piece with my son's help. We took our time checking them out and reading the manual.I was excited to try this machine to do my least favorite thing to do, chopping and slicing onions. And it chopped and sliced the onion perfectly and quickly. My only problem is that the opening where the food goes into is still a but small. I also love that the smaller pusher is also a measuring cup. Ingenius. The machine also does not turn on until it senses there's food inside the tunnel. I assume it's for safety. The machine's 9 cup capacity allows to handle large amount of food. A smaller unit I used to have was aggravating because I had to empty the bowl multiple times if I needed to make big portions. And it doesn't require you constantly scaping the bowl to dislodge food chunks around the blades like cheaper units I had in the past. It's time-saving. The machine has a separate space on the bottom of the base to wrap the power cord around to conveniently adjust the length to your need.Lastly, it's surprisingly quiet. I expected it to be loud from my past experiences. I was surprised to find it as quiet as it was.This is an impressive food processor that efficiently handles large portions of food and does a lot. It's well-designed and well-made kitchen appliance that will actually be useful.

This small and mighty food processor is a kitchen must-have. It's a solid unit heavy and sturdy but runs quietly with percission. It can chop, mince, slice ,shread, dice, puree,blend, mix, and also comes with a dough blade for kneeding. The attachments all fit nicely inside the processing bowl can be a bit fiddly but I soon got use to it . It's easy to operate with a start stop button and a pulse hold button . It's safe to operate and only works when it's all locked into place . It can handle small and large food in the food pusher .it works quickly and makes food preperarion so much quicker. Its small enough to put away but heavy so I've left mine out as it gets used daily for juicing . I would definitely recommend .

The parts are also colour coded which makes it super easy to find what you need.
