Fantastic blender. Expensive but well worth it. Have had the cheaper ones all my life and didn't realise how smooth a Smoothie could be when done with a high end product. No bits at all. Totally mushed up. Highly recommend.

Fantastic Appliance with a decent warranty. We make smoothies everyday and this blender is perfect for that purpose. We purchased this appliance because of the 7 year warranty period. I have previously owned other breville blenders and found them to be excellent. I love the count down feature. They are also easy to use because you can just press the smoothie button and get perfect results everytime.

Purchased this at a departmental store over a year ago. Easy to use and functions well and makes the best smoothies, smooth purees (pumpkin, potato, cauliflower etc), crushed nuts and legumes into fine powder. I would have preferred a glass jug but have been impressed that the plastic jug is durable, does not retain smell from vege purees and is easy to clean. The 4-stars rating is due to the drawbacks - ring-pull lid and motor issue. The ring-pull lid is not the easiest to pull off at bench top height. It is easier to just grip the lid to pry off the jug. After many months of great performance, the motor started to smell which made it a safety issue to use. Took it back to the shop for repair as it was under warranty. Brilliant product. Easy to use and easy to clean. Results are delicious.The ice-crushing program works well.Notes:- the soup program is fast but extremely loud (best to leave the room when it is on)- the preprogrammed settings are strangely long (blending for several minutes for a smoothie when it is done after 30-45 seconds)- the bowl is made of plastic, not glass, so blending hard dry ingredients (e.g. nuts) removes the transparency. It is still functional, but not transparent anymore.
Great solid machine. quieter than most other blenders so it’s great for my early morning smoothies and not waking up the family. Blends frozen smoothies with ease and has a great consistency.
This blender is everything I hoped for, and I use it every day. I bought an extra jug and lid and it makes it easy for when other family members want to make an alternate smoothie flavor at the same time. I love the look of it, its easy to clean by adding water to the jug and a bit of soap then pressing the clean button, just need to rinse then put it away.
I bought this because I wanted really high quality applience that would last and last that could crush ice, make smoothies and blend cocktails for a decent nuber of people. The 2 litre capacity is perfectly generous and the components from the solid stable base and heavy duty motor to the solid blender jug are clearly worthy of the 7 year warantee. The different button functions are all useful - from pulsing to create the perfect "slushie-worthy" ice to the mix, smoothie and soup settings. If you are trying to prioritise sustaiability and overall lifetime value then I reckon this is the blender for you. Too often manufacturers succumb to a price-driven race to the bottom, and create products that seem to almost be designed to last only 12 months. An excellent product. As the jug and blade are all one piece, it doesn't need to be taken apart for cleaning. This is unlike my previous Breville that had three parts to the jug including a washer that used to go mouldy. The plunger is also a great idea.
love the power of it, great to have different setting for different foods, love the self cleaning setting. have not tried to make pesto with it. a bit loud
