Overall quite happy with the experience of using this air purifier. It was a little difficult to get connected to wifi and took a few goes, but connection has been rock solid after that. In terms of purifying it seems to do a good job and the app provides good feedback about the air quality in the room. The one improvement I’d like to see is a schedule for the night mode. The lights are very bright (using in a Bedroom), and there is a night mode to turn off the lights on the unit however this can’t be scheduled so you need to manually turn this on and off. Being a “smart” device it seems like a logical improvement, the app currently works just as a remote control more than being tightly integrated in a smart home system. Happy with the purchase.

I bought this about two months ago, when we first plugged it into you would literally walk in the room and my partner and I remarked how crisp the air was, was really weird. That didn’t last super long but even now my partner and I have way less reactions to my dogs hair than we did before, so I call that a win.The light is so bad. It is ridiculously bright and blue. Night mode is quiet which is good and can cut the light, but anything higher immediately turns on the brightest blue light imaginable. So if you’re thinking of using this as like a white noise machine please take that into account. Breville said I did everything possible, and then told me to take it back to swap it over.I drove the hour round trip to do as they'd said. Got the new one home and set it up again. I bought this recently because my seasonal allergies were so bad I wasn't able to function without being a slobbery mess.The air purifier is quiet and immediately helped with my allergies. It doesn't take up too much room and it was so easy to set up and move between rooms if needed.I would recommend the Smart Air, it's much more reasonable priced and works for most room sizes. The bonus voice control settings also mean I can turn it on when cooking or without fumbling for my phone.
We bought this air purifier to get rid of the lingering odour in our new property which it did! As we have an open plan living, dining and kitchen with window furthest away from the kitchen, it cleans the air after cooking so the area doesnt smell or feel stuffy. We also love that its quiet and easy to use. We were always happy with our other Breville appliances and this had great reviews so we went with this - a great option as well as we already have central heating so didnt need a purifier with cooling or heating.

I thought that the purifier could potentially help me in my quest to find some sort of relief overnight. I came across the purifiers by chance and read reviews and saw that air purifiers were actually helping other people with their allergies; so I thought that I should give this a go. After all, if they work on other allergy ridden people, then why wouldn't they work on me! Well, I have to say that immediately I found some relief! I was suffering every night with itchy eyes, sneezing and restless sleep - but the purifier has definitely helped me! I set it to automatic but left it on at night only because the fan is quite noisy when it is on automatic and the turbo fan is going (eg when the red light is displaying). After abut 5 days, I started seeing blue light indicator - and I noticed the change in air quality. Once the air quality improves the fan noise is minimal even on automatic setting. This unit has been good for getting rid of cooking smells (eg curries) and keeps air fresh. There is less dust build up on furniture too. I find if I put it on every night (on auto) it maintains good air quality. Strange experience though. This air purifier seems to be extra sensitive to moisture in the air. For example, when I put the air humidifier on (Breville Easy, mist), at the same time as this air purifier, even if they are 5 meters away from each other, this air purifier shows poor air quality (red light). If I turn the humidifier off, wait for 20-30 minutes, then the air quality on the purifier changes to good (ie blue indicator). Absolutely weird?

Breville sent me only ONE filter. When I asked them for the second free filter (as per their in-store promotion sign) they said that the second filter would not be given, as the purifiers are in the same house. They said, if I had read the Ts & Cs it says only 1 filter per house!! Nobody reads the T&C details when making a purchase.Besides that, when these machines are running, they show very different readings, and behave differently, when operated side by side.With both machines set to 'auto', one reads the air dust as '9' and runs the motor on 'low'.
