I have been using the Smart Air Viral Protect for a few weeks now and the difference it makes is very noticeable.I started with it in my room as this is where the whole family ends up through the night, and I noticed from the first night that the air felt fresher and the room smelt cleaner too (no more stale sleep smell that all rooms get in the morning). I replaced my Sensibo air with this Breville Smart Air Viral Protect Compact Purifier. I purchased this purifier online. It stopped working after two days.... so I returned it to the Good Guys at Oxley and they gave me a replacement. The replacement stopped working the second time we tried to use it.... we had followed the directions to a tee, and contacted the Breville Hotline. They confirmed that this unit too was faulty and we should drive back to Oxley to exchange it again! I did not want the same unit, and the only option was to pay an extra $90 to upgrade to the larger purifier..

Still too early for a full report. I have only used it for 2 weeks.I have sinus problems. It is in my bedroom and the air seems fresher. I like the quiet of the night function. I put it on after I have made my bed and tidied up the room for an hour. Again late afternoon and of course at night. I have also noticed that there is hardly any dust on the furniture. The purified air comes out cold.
I was extremely and pleasantly shocked to see how quickly and effectively this improves the air quality in your home. We are a house hold of athsmatics and ex smokers with allergy problems. Coughing at night is just a normal sound in our house. The kids have always gotten blocke noses and coughs si bad they've thrown up. But since the first day I plug in the airpurifier I have not heard a single night time cough in weeks
It delivers exactly what it’s supposed to do. I have 4 doodles as much as they are hypoallergenic they sleep next to me. I used to cough quite a bit as soon as I get to bed even when I am not sick. Then it will calm down. Consulted doctor, got antihistamine no joy. After I got this air purifier I stopped coughing. Unless I really have a bad cold. I sleep a lot better!
Not sure if this is normal but the number will go something like 4.0 to 3.0 to 1.0 then to 3.0 to 1.0, it's jumping around. Also. there are 2 construction sites beside my apartment, I can always smell bad smell and my nose will become sensitive, but the air quality number still stays max. 4.0 when I thought it should shoot up more. But it's good looking, the app is convenient, all the functions seem working good. Just not sure if the indicator is working properly..
Have only been running it for about a week, and have noticed the air smelling fresher. Also good for removing odours too, as often after cooking the smell lingers. But once I run this for a bit I notice the smell going away quicker than usual. So there's definitely something happening. Will know in a few months about power consumption and how long it'll maintain this level of effectiveness. But we'll see. Definitely worth trying at the sale price.

This unit uses a 2.4G connection for small devices, but in my household all our devices are setup through a 5G connection, leaving me unable to get this little machine to connect and work from the phone. Thus using Breville home connect App and the Google smart home App were Impossible. But eventually I solved the problem and connection was very easy, and the apps were a breeze to use. Overall, I thought this machine, over the duration of the 7 Days worked very well, using its Micron Particle Monitor it identified the air, good or bad and purified as needed.
