It takes sometime to toast, even on higher setting. Fruit toAst, on fruit bread setting takes two times, and I miss the crumpet setting. Even knowing this wasn’t available, I thought it would still toast. However it does not do it well. It is otherwise satisfactory for regular size bread. Easy to keep clean, and a nice looking unit.

This toaster model was purchased online with David Jones. Tried it once and the setting on 3 which was recommended to use for first time only warmed the bread. The highest setting on 6 toasted only 1 side of the bread.Had to drive 1 hour to return to David Jones for Refund. Perhaps this was a defective one. Better quality control is needed.

Purchased this toaster for new kitchen, even with setting up the highest bread is hardly brown it always needs to be toasted twice , not what I was expecting for the price .Should never have thrown out 30 year old one.Is there a warranty ? I have had it in use for 6 months

I've had 2 of this toaster now and both have been lemons :(Both start shorting the power after 12-18 months use - the first one did this just before the warranty was out, so we replaced with the same one (thinking perhaps we were just unlucky) - nope, sure enough at 18monhs use it's now shorted the power in the house. We have since moved house too, and have turned off all appliances to confirm it's 100% the toaster causing it.So disappointing as it has great eye appeal and toasts beautifully. But certainly won't be buying another!
This toasters looks good, and cooks toast properly on both sides. Features that i love are that you can check toast without interrupting cooking cycle and the little bit more button, where it just cooks for a tad bit longer. Perfect.
I was looking for a toaster that I could cook 4 pieces of toast at the same time. I like how I can use the "little bit more button" as the kids keep turning down the dial and I forget to turn it up a notch. But also good if I have to reheat my toast again.Cooks toast all over. Easy to use and buttons and push down leaver all work well.
The toaster works okay though the build quality is not good. It got covered in rust when it was left unused for few weeks. When I called Breville support, they refused to help as it was 2 months outside their warranty. I guess there is no point in paying more for Breville when the quality is same as Kambrook (Breville's sister brand)
Our old toaster broke so we needed to buy a new one this year, 2021. We liked the look of the functions on this Breville especially the “lift and look” and “a bit more” functions. And we found they aren’t gimmicks as we use them a lot. I like to lift the bread and change its position midway through for more even toasting. It’s value for money. The only thing it’s missing is a crumpet setting. This is the only reason we didn’t give it 5 stars.
We love Breville, our kitchen is full of Breville products, from twin boiler coffee machine, through to milk shake maker. We have always been happy with all our products, until we bought this toaster. We have never owned a toaster that on maximum browning you have to put the toast on again, Uneven toasting.Besides looking good, this product has no positive features. It won't stop me buying Breville, but I will never buy a Breville toaster again. Take it off the market

I had high hopes for this Breville toaster given the price tag and the number of good reviews.This was definitely the most expensive toaster I had ever purchased!Sadly I have found that it toasts very unevenly, two slices of bread on the same side on the same setting will come out at quite different “toasted” levels.One piece of toast will be light brown on one side and almost burnt on the other side.The other piece of toast cooked on the same side of the toaster at the same time on the exact same setting will be a very light brown on both sides.In Photo #3 you can see that the bread wasn’t toasted all the way to the edges on one side.I might be willing to accept this if this had ... MoreI purchased this toaster 2 weeks ago to replace my very old cheap toaster.
