Easy install, just loop over headrest. Has some room for adjustment at strap. The rubber grips underneath keep it in place. Easy wipe clean.

Fantastic seat protector

I bought this to help protect my back seat from my babies car seat while rear facing. Although I thought it would be more sturdy, it still does a fantastic job at stopping the car seat from digging into the back cushion. The material is easy to wipe down and will also be wonderful when my baby grows, and is front facing as it has a handy pocket. Highly recommend!

Great product

This is our 2nd one. Not because of a fault but because the shape of it made it easy for my 5yr old to do up his seatbelt in his booster. It is a far better design then others that we had purchased over the years.

Great seat cover

Loved how quickly I was able to purchase it on my phone and pick it up the same day. We were buying a new car with leather seats and wanted something to help protect the seats from my son's car seat. Found this product online at target. Ordered it and was able to pick up after we finished with the purchase and before we picked my son up from my parents. It covers the seat perfectly. Was easy to install. Would totally purchase a second one if we needed it!

Great seat protector

Second seat protector of this type that we have bought after swapping out an old one. It has great base support to prevent the weight of the seat or its frame from digging into the car seats. It covers the back of the seat so when it is rear facing, little ones don't scuff the car seat with their shoes. Super simple to put in and doesn't slide around once in either.

It does its job!!!

As noted, the Brica Seat Guardian was designed to protect one's car's upholstery from damage due to children in car seats. I found that it did its job and I was pleased with that. I purchased two, in hopes to use it for both of my children, in car seats, but it turns out that it is most beneficial when your child is rear-facing. What I appreciated most about the seat guard was that the material did not interfere with the positioning of the car seat or cause the car seat to shift from left to right, once installed. Although it is not recommended to be used between the car's seat and the car seat, as it hasn't been crash-tested, I found that it was effective in keeping my seats clean and I wasn't concerned about any alterations to my car seat's safety.

It is an okay seat protector

I like this seat guardian. I am using it in my Mercedes. I like that it has the storage section at the bottom for putting stuff in. It is good quality product. The only downside and reason why I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars is that it was way too short for the seat for me to actually make use of the storage. The storage section that is supposed to dangle at the bottom came up to the seat. So I probably will not be using that feature. But otherwise this seat guardian works as expected. I haven't had it for a very long time. Had it for only about 3 weeks but so far I like it.

I had noticed that whenever I had to remove the carseat to move it to my husband's vehicle or to another car, that there were very prominent indentations in the leather of my CRV and that had bothered me a lot, because I worried the leather would tear. This is a great product to provide a layer of protection between a child's protective carseat and the fabric of your vehicle. It appears very sturdy, is a breeze to install, and also prevents crumbs from embedding themselves into the seams of the leather seats. It also prevents dirty footprints on the the seat back (for a rear facing carseat). Fortunately because of the elastic portion connecting back and the seat helps account for this. The pocket on the bottom hasn't been used in my car, but could be a place to store small toys or an extra diaper or two.

Slides on smooth surfaces

Agree with another reviewer, if you have leather or faux leather seats, this is a no-go for carseats. Once the carseat is installed on top of this, you can easily slide the seat around - it moves way too much. Wouldn’t buy again for this purpose. We might move it to the dog’s seat for the protection factor.
