We are blown away by this set! It does NOT disappoint!! First of all, unpacking this set was comparable to Christmas morning for our kids! With so many "stations" for the train to travel to, there is very little room for arguing over who gets to operate each part. Parts light up and make noise, which add to the kid's delight and I'm thrilled that they aren't cheap or annoying sounds! They're actually pretty impressive!Compared to other brands, the quality of the components are unparalleled. The tracks are very smooth and solid. They're pretty cool tubs themselves.All in all, this is a fantastic toy and provides hours of fun!

A few family members chipped in to buy this for my sons 4th birthday present!Excellent quality and hoping for longevity that this will take him through to when he no longer wants to play with trains.The storage box is great too (all though it's difficult to get it all back in!!)
Really love this set, keeps my son entertained for hours. Doesn't take too long to assemble but obviously if you're tight on space you'll have to dismantle & pop away after use. The storage box it came with is super useful for keeping everything together & tidy. We brought some cheap battery operated trains that work really well on this.
Loads of variety, the trains are great. And the bridges are really sturdy.
Kids love it too much
After much research on our very first train set for our 3 year-old's birthday, we landed on this one after a bit of hesitancy on the price. There were positive reviews out there and we've grown familiar with the greatness of the Brio brand...and are we glad we did. This train set is truly magical! It's very well made and has perfect little details that capture my toddlers imagination. The lighthouse, boat, station etc all make really cool sounds and make up a very diverse little town. His birthday was a couple weeks ago and he still loves to play with it when he's home, which is a first for any toy to capture his attention for such a long stretch. We love this train set.
The best gift I could buy for my children.
My children (5 and 3) absolutely love this train set! It's complete for them to use their imagination to the full (trains, boat, underground, people...) and it keeps them busy for hours!The fact that it comes in its own foldable pack away box is a bonus! Easily put away after a good play. Brio toys are really good quality, we are very happy with this purchase.
