Ridiculously good, but pricey. I was very lucky to get a loaf of this Gourmet Brioche loaf as a limited release sample. I sliced, lightly toasted it and spread with butter and strawberry jam for breakfasts over a couple of days, it was ridiculously good. The slices were light, buttery and soft, a lovely product. Made in France, which is ok with me as the French make fabulous brioche and bakery items. There was only one thing I could fault it on and that was the price, $8. 30 for a 500g loaf is way too much to spend on a single loaf. I took off one star because of the price. I would buy again, but only on markdown and would recommend to others. Thanks to Woolworths and bunch for the opportunity to sample this excellent product.

Delicious special treat. This must seriously be a popular product as I had so much trouble in locating in a number of stores. Found in the bread isle, not the bakery .... halfway down the isle with a number of other varieties of this brand. As I picked this up on the last day available it was the only product I picked up so was very surprised when I saw the price of $7. 50 ring up ! Did not disappoint for the price and is comparable to buying from name brand bakery’s. Once home I decided I just had to try it as it was and according to packet directions just warmed and buttered OH MY how did I not eat the whole loaf ! So light, very fluffy and buttery goodness all in one. Pack says to store in an airtight container after opening but seriously it would never last that ... MoreDelicious special treat. The next day I decided to add caramelised banana for brunch and WOW just delicious!!! Made in France though I do not know how it stays so lovely and fresh with a six day use by date travelling all that distance when it is not suitable to freeze and is just tied with a simple flat wired tie ‍♀️Although I prefer to buy Australian for food products as much as I can I have no problem when an authentic product from a reputable country is available. This would definitely be a repurchase for special occasions.

Cele-Brioche-On to Find. Have a second Brioche Bunch sample, I knew exactly where in store to find this loaf. However it was out of stock at first, so my second visit was a true Cele-Brioche-On to see in stock. After all, I don’t want to miss out on a free $7. 50 sample. This loaf is nice, similar to a dense croissant. However priced at $7. 50 I feel it’s a bit over priced, hence minus one star. The sliced brioche loaves are stocked and appear to have more shelf space. Much like any bread I prefer sliced, so unsliced is something I normally wouldn’t choose. Having said this I cut it thick and lightly toasted and delicious. Thanks for the sample, it does taste nice fresh or lightly toasted with jam. I am actually tempted to buy again. Very sweet bread. We found this loaf in the bread isle of the supermarket. It is a specialty loaf and comes with a price that would be expected for that. This loaf came all the way from France. The bread was easy to slice with our electric knife and you could see how beautiful the bread was. It was lovely and soft and light. It was a lovely product and of high quality. The taste was just very very sweet, too sweet for me. It did remind me of croissants, taste wise, but with extra sugar. Other than the sweetness, it was a lovely loaf, but not for me. If I could have a loaf like this but with the sugar drastically reduced, then I would buy it again. We tried this fresh, then toasted with butter, and also with Jam. When you have it with Jam is tastes better and you expect Jam toast to be sweet, so it feels right. I am thankful that I was able to test this but unfortunately I won't buy again, as I said, because of the over sweetness.

Delightful Brioche. Scored a limited release with this brioche loaf. Was really pleased as this 400 gram loaf costs $8. 30. The loaf I picked up was 'fresh' as the expiry is 7 days away. It's thawed from frozen, so technically it isn't freshly baked. Made in France, this loaf is fancy (though painfully aware of the carbon footprint). Made a brioche pudding using Mary Berry's recipe sourced from the internet. First attempt at ever making bread & butter pudding, so I was a little nervous about how it will turn out. The pudding turned out yummy. Even my mum who is not a pudding nor a custard fan said it was nice. Only 2 downsides - 1) pricey loaf that has travelled a very long way 2) it would be better if the loaf was sliced. The good thing was that the loaf was not ... MoreDelightful Brioche. The loaf was super soft, with a sweet buttery taste. I have a couple of leftover slices of brioche which I will enjoy as toast for breakfast tomorrow. This product certainly lives up to its name of Brioche Gourmet Butter Loaf. I am now secretly hoping this loaf will be on weekly specials or on markdown so I can make another batch of brioche pudding.

Too soft and way overpriced. This was a nice sample to receive, but when I did purchase it I was surprised at the price, $7. 50, for an uncut loaf of buttery bread. I was hesitant to cut it at first, thinking that for the price, how many slices would you like to get from it. I took on board that this was a sample, and therefore free, so I cut it generously, but not too thick that it wouldn’t fit in my toaster. I slightly toasted it, no more than 30 seconds, enough that the outside was toasty. I noticed that it did shrink, and upon adding butter, it very much did melt in and made my slice wilt in size. It did taste ok, but I wasn’t overly impressed with what I got considering the price you’d have to pay. This loaf does come down to a personal choice to how you want to slice it, I was lucky to get 10 good slices out it, but as I said before, it did shrink once toasted, so if you did want it for burgers etc, you’d have to cut it thicker and hence, you’d get less slices from the loaf. This is not something that I’d repurchase because it wasn’t value for money and I much prefer the Woolworths Turkish Bread Rolls.

Very yummy, lovely and fresh, price abit high. Alot of stores seem to sell it but I could never find it on the shelves until I went to a smaller store and they had heaps. So lovely and soft, so yummy toasted to have for morning tea with a cuppa. Was still very fresh even a few days after I had opened it. Is abit sweet but I love sweet items and you can cut the size of the loaf to whatever thickness to suit your needs although being so soft, cutting it was abit tricky. Not something you could eat every day I don't think but perfect as a treat. I think the price is abit high but seeing that it is made in France, you wouldn't mind paying for good quality. If I was entertaining, I would consider purchasing this again in the future.

Oh, my tastebuds!! I picked up the "sliced" variety of this Brioche in error and had to go back to get the "better" version on offer. At first I was annoyed as I didn't get it as a freebie. BUT oh my goodness....... it is absolutely delicious and worth the need to go back for a second time. When I finally got my butter version, it tasted exactly the same as the sliced version - in other words ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS and a treat for the tastebuds. BUT, oh it is dear. My budget wouldn't stretch this far, but it has been a WONDERFUL treat for my household. I just ate both versions straight from the loaf - what a sweet treat it was. Thank you for the opportunity to sample it.

Absolutely divine ✨️. I was super excited about this sample( probably because it looks so fancy and inviting ! ) and it did not dissapoint that's for sure. Tasting alot like croissants and waffles had a baby, I couldnt help but near devour the whole loaf to myself I tried it fresh, toasted, buttered and fried ( my favourite way to eat it ! ) and even drizzled with maple syrup, every way was delicious ! My next loaf I will be cutting a thicker slice, making a pocket and filling with ham and cheese then frying, I can't wait ! At $7 a loaf it is a tad on the pricey end but perfect for a treat to yourself I will 1000% be buying this again and recommend it to anyone who will listen

Soft, easy to cut and just delicious. Located in the bread isle. I loved how good this product was sealed. It sure made the loaf extremely soft, fresh and lovely and fluffy. I sliced it easy and decided to make French toast. It was so delicious butter and sweet goodness. A really nice tasting bread. Would love to see one with choc chips in it. You would probably get 4 or 5 serves from this so I think if you compare to buying in a cafe it’s pretty good. Or more if you sliced it thinner. I will defiantly purchase again as it was just so tasty better than any cafe can make Thank you bunch so much for the extremely tasty sample. A big 5 ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️
