I love my Brita bottle! I wanted to get one years ago but never did because I am a cold water drinker only but when I saw this I knew it would be life changing! I’m very particular about the taste of water especially when traveling from state to state (I go to school out of state) and this ensures a consistent and clean taste. I am a rower and often have my water bottle in the shell with me and it has lasted very well with all of the damage I put it through, I even accidentally dropped it down a flight if concrete stairs on the lid and other then one minor dent it did not sustain any real damage. My issue is with the size of the bottle. Since the straw and filter components are so large you can’t really put more than like two ice cubes in the bottle and you can’t fill it all the way because of the water displacement from the filter so you’re not actually getting a full 20oz. I wish there was a bigger size that could fix these minor issues but other than that my favorite water bottle!

This water bottle seemed like a great investment. It’s stainless steel and should last forever, right? Not quite. The lid is plastic and, after moderate use for a couple years, it broke, rendering the water bottle useless.I have purchased a bunch of replacement filters so have no choice but to spend another $30 to buy a new water bottle.Brita’s customer service was less than helpful. I asked whether I could get a replacement lid (that’s all I need), which seemed reasonable (I’d even pay for it!), but nope. For some reason they don’t do this? Makes no sense. So, go ahead and spend $30 on the water bottle. Just no it will likely break after a while and is not sustainable, which is the whole reason I purchased it in the first place.

I had very particular features I was looking for in a bottle and this bottle met all my needs and more! My son has autism and struggles with unscrewing many of the lids on other steel insulated bottles. I needed a soft spout that didn’t leak and had an attached lid to limit exposure to germs and other general grossness that it would potentially be exposed to at school. I thought I was going to have to sacrifice one feature or another because until I found the Brita bottle, the only ones that checked all the items on my list were not large enough capacity volume to last him the whole day. I was so excited to find this bottle! It’s easy to take apart and clean, doesn’t leak as long as the lid is closed, and as a bonus (for me) it has the built in filter and handle on ... MoreI had very particular features I was looking for in a bottle and this bottle met all my needs and more! However, functionally it is a 10/10 for me and I have purchased several more as back-ups and for other members of my family!

Hit by a Bus and Still Works!
17 January 2024

This is the best water bottle I have ever purchased. It fits in every cupholder and will fit in the suspiciously small water bottle pocket in your backpack. Mine quite literally got run over by a city bus (as in you could feel the bus run over it) and still works perfectly fine with minimal scratches and dents. Since that happened over 2 and a half years ago, I noticed mold growing in the mouth piece (due to me not washing it as frequently as I should) and Brita shipped me a brand new one for free because there is no sense in getting a brand new water bottle for one small piece. Recently the lid stopped snapping shut (due to me dropping it so many times and a tiny piece of plastic popping off and the support team over at Brita mailed a coupon for me to purchase a ... MoreThis is the best water bottle I have ever purchased. I would be an ambassador for Brita's water bottle!
5 September 2024

I bought this water bottle two years ago and it is one of the best investments I have made. If you live in a college town, or just drink a lot of water, this is great! It takes away the weird tang from questionably old water fountains and keeps water refreshing. Also, my ice has lasted in this water bottle for multiple days. The size of the 20 oz allows for my water bottle to still fit in a backpack pocket and car cup holders. On top of a phenomenal product, the customer service is unmatched. After using my bottle for two years, I started to encounter an issue with the cap an Brita has been awesome at helping me get a replacement. Between the bottle itself and a company you can rely on, Brita is built different. Need I say more?

Keeps Water Extra Cold!
25 June 2019

This Brita stainless steel water bottle is perfect to use everyday. I like the slim design which makes it easy to hold onto. Also it can fit in a car cup holder with no problems. This double walled bottle kept my water very cold for a long time too.The cap opens easily with a push of a button which is a great feature. What I wish was different about the cap is that it doesn’t close easily. Personally I feel it requires to much effort to close. The straw filter attachment locks and unlocks easily. Drinking from the straw makes this very easy to use. The filter is easy to install and makes the water taste better. I wish the filter could remove more containments like the other Brita filters do. Having a variety of water bottle filter options would be nice.Overall ... MoreThis Brita stainless steel water bottle is perfect to use everyday. The only changes I would makes is to redesign how the cap clicks into place so you don’t have to use much force to close and to offer filters that can remove more contaminants from tap water.

Life-Changing
7 July 2023

I've had the brita water bottle for a little over a year, and I am nothing less of obsessed! I've tried around 8 different stainless steel water bottles, but i always go back to this one! It gets harder to drink out of when the filter needs to be replaced, which i actually appreciate. The rubber mouthpiece does get funky, but I have been able to find replacements online for an affordable price. Overall, I can't live without this. Not only do I drink so much more water than before, but I haven't had to buy water bottles in over a year.

Let me just say, this product is fabulous for the GYM. It has a built in straw and a button to press which “pops” the lid right off. When I’m on the treadmill...I can take a drink one-handed and not have to worry about slowing down. The handle on top is also a simple but great feature, you can attach it to your backpack or something else which would be very convenient when you’re hiking.Assembly is crazy easy. You can do it in 15 seconds and not even have to read to directions but please do make sure to rinse the filter before attaching it to its piece. I got overly excited after I first got the product and put in together without reading the directions first and the filter can be a little difficult to pull back out.As far as taste difference, I live in Denver, ... MoreLet me just say, this product is fabulous for the GYM. Ive started using filtered water though because I have an under active thyroid and fluoride has been linked to hypothyroidism.Only complaint I have, and it’s a minor one, is when you’re drinking and get to the end of the bottle and also when you refill it...you get a gulp of air. But that’s to be expected with the built-in straw.

One Downside: Moldy Mouthpiece
9 January 2022

Okay, so first of all let me say that I absolutely LOVE my Brita water bottle. I was lucky and found mine at a local surplus store so it was only $9. I had no idea how incredible this water bottle was but I'm super happy I got it.I have always been very, very weird about what I drink from. With this water bottle, there's no weird taste and I know that nothing is getting into my water. Yes, it keeps my water cold which is a giant plus.Downside is that the rubber mouthpiece is very hard to clean properly and so, both mine and my sister's water bottles ended up growing black mold. My sister just tossed her bottle but I managed to get rid of it by using a toothbrush to scrub at the inside, letting it sit in boiling water for about three minutes, and then using ... MoreOkay, so first of all let me say that I absolutely LOVE my Brita water bottle. The BEST water bottle for picky water drinkers.
12 May 2024

I’m funny about water - if it has any chlorine or funny taste, I won’t drink it. Even the city water from my own tap in my house is too chlorinated. I also travel a lot for work so I find myself in hotel rooms with gross water. My husband bought this for me and I LOVE IT. I can fill it up anywhere and the water tastes great. It also seals tight, unlike yetis/stanleys, so I can throw it in my backpack, in the car, anywhere, and it doesn’t leak. I go through airport security with it all the time, just have to empty it first. Thank you, Brita!
