I originally bought this for my daughter and after using her car to drive my grandson to the zoo, I realized how great it was! I bought one for myself, and my other two kids. It is so easy to remove and stays right where you put it. Not only do you have peace of mind to see if babies are alright; the babies feel secure because they can see you. As baby gets older they enjoy seeing themselves and then start making funny faces to entertain themselves. The rear facing “Law” is to age 2, you will definitely get your use from this mirror. I buy it for every baby shower I’m invited to.

Had mine 4 years now still going like the day it was first installed. Used for now 3 babies and I wouldn’t have any other brand after this one. I went through three cheaper ones before biting the bullet and paying for this one. I regrets. Only moves if you physically move it not when driving like all the other cheaper ones and you can actually see clearly through it not distorted like some of the cheaper ones.

I don't write reviews as often as I should on products I purchase but felt so strongly against this that I had to warn others. I registered for this mirror after seeing it as a "favorite" registry item...and since I've now had a chance to fairly assess it after 6+ months of use, I say don't bother with this one. The two main issues with this mirror are #1- The mirror does NOT stay in place. I have adjusted and readjusted this too many times to count, regardless of how tight the straps are around the headrest. The slightest vibration and this mirror shifts. #2- They boast of a wide angle, but the mirror is so distorted that you can't see whether or not little one is awake or asleep from your rear view mirror. Yeah, that's right...you have to turn around to get a ... MoreI don't write reviews as often as I should on products I purchase but felt so strongly against this that I had to warn others. I recently purchased the BRITAX Backseat mirror for my car. We installed it this weekend and I drove my route to work that I will take with the baby this morning. I am very disappointed with the mirror. I have already thrown out the packaging, otherwise I would bring it back to store. First, the mirror itself is wavy and looks like afunhouse mirror from a circus vs. showing a clear reflection of thecarseat where baby will be. Secondly, any bump I hit while drivingcauses mirror to move so that it does not allow me a consistent view of carseat. If it was just a wavy mirror I could deal but the entire purpose of the mirror is to see baby while driving. If any bump causes it to misalign so I cannot see then it is useless. I plan to get a different brand of mirror. I ... MoreI recently purchased the BRITAX Backseat mirror for my car. Now after a fair assessment with 6+ months worth of use, I am finally going to give up on it. I never put much thought into which mirror we had until my second kid was born. I wanted one that would let me check on both girls easily, but the middle seat of my car doesn’t have a head rest, so two mirrors wouldn’t really solve the issue! I saw this one would work for a middle seated child and bought it. It’s perfect! Secures so well to the headrest, adjusts just right so that I can view both girls at once and clearly too! Wish I had this one from the beginning!
This mirror was easy to install and seemed promising. Unfortunately, seconds after beginning to drive down the street, the mirror started to droop, making it difficult to see into the carseat. The mirror is installed snuggly, but the ball and socket cannot be tightened. Each time I readjust the mirror, the same thing occurs.Noticing that Britax commented on other reviews and suggested contacting their customer service, I reached out to them with my concerns. This is the response I received: "Megan, It does pivot so you can move it in the various directions. You can tighten with the straps but that is the only way. I am sorry we can not assist you further." The email says that my issue has been "RESOLVED & CLOSED."I am 38 weeks pregnant, so I haven't even had the ... MoreThis mirror was easy to install and seemed promising. we really like this mirror. We both have one in each of our cars. The mirror is large and very clear so we can easily see our toddler. It stays put even on really bumpy roads. It was easy to install and it is easy to remove. I like how you can change the angle (left/right & up/down). When we took a trip to the beach, we installed this on the middle seat headrest so that our toddler could watch a movie on the ipad on the headrest for her seat. We had no trouble at all seeing her. I recommend this to all of my friends who are parents to be!
I love this Britex back seat mirror. The mirror itself is larger than most and has the ability to adjust on its base. I had to install it on the passenger seat headrest since my vehicle does not have the middle seat headrest. Worked perfectly and the installation was easy with the straps. I did not have the luxury of reading reviews since I was in the store so I asked the clerk which mirror was their top seller. Glad I asked, I can see why it was this one. I purchased one for myself, “Nonni”, one for my daughter and one for my son-in-law. We love being able to put eyes on our little blessing.
This mirror is huge and it does block my rear view a bit but it makes seeing baby a lot easier. The straps are clip on and you do need to have a back headrest to strap it on, so it works for my needs, but I could see this being a problem for those without a center back headrest. Also the straps and clips are not the highest quality so it was a pain to initially install and adjust, but once it's on I don't see myself removing it. And it does move around a tad but not enough that you can no longer see your baby. And no light, so at night you wouldn't be able to see anything. So if you do a lot of night time driving with baby, you should probably select another mirror.Pro: large size, works for my needs, competitive price @ targetCon: low quality straps and clips, ... MoreThis mirror is huge and it does block my rear view a bit but it makes seeing baby a lot easier.
