I cannot rate this product as it was misadvertised and therefore I had to return it without even opening the box. I had to wait until it was delivered before I could return it, even though after further investigation the next day after ordering I tried to cancel. The return cost me a postage fee and I also had 10% deducted from the original purchase price as a "handling fee" because it was returned on a so-called "change of mind policy" - which was incorrect as the product was incorrectly advertised. I would not recommend dealing with MyDeal unless you are 100% certain that the product you are ordering is the product that you want and is as advertised.

I like its retro looks and the fact it heats you well without overheating the room and without a fan. Great that it's ignited by battery, especially in an electricity blackout. However, it's a bit on the noisy side which is drowned out by tv. That's not a deal breaker. Cons - Often takes several times to ignite - as soon as you release the on/off button after ignition, it sometimes turns off completely. The button simply bounces right back to off. Then you have to reignite it. This is an intermittent problem. If it wasn't for this I'd give it 5 stars.

Not happy that the heater does not have a fan..!! It sits in the lounge room....warming up one room only, instead of warming up the whole house. I did not realize this when I purchased it,I automatically assumed, that all gas heaters would have a fan...!!! When I tried to return the product, I was advised that I would lose 20% of the purchase price upon refund............NOT HAPPY AT ALL..........!!!!!!

I'm very happy I settled on this heater after looking at other brands. It heats up our space efficiently, great quality and very reasonably priced. I definitely recommend no problems.

Whilst the product looks good and works well when it actually works, it doesn't look reliable in that it failed after a weeks of usage.The Red button to switch the unit on failed and unit no longer switches on.On top of that, the warranty claim has been a nightmare. The supplier, Bromic, doesn't want to hear from customer. Mydeal.com.au are the middle man trying to find a solution but not successful so far. I hope we reach a resolution soon.However, my advice is not to buy until they fix up their warranty claim issues.

Product doesn't work as well as claimed. Not sure how the m2 is worked out but I'm heating an area 40m2, half the claimed capacity of heater and it struggles. It is difficult to start, taking up to an hr at times to light. Follow the directions and wait the stated time in between etc but rarely lights in less than 10 minutes, would take 30-40 mins most days. Not happy with the purchase and the information advertised.

Great Heater

I bought this heater a few weeks ago, easy to plug in and simple system to turn on and off. Heats up the house so well. No gas or fire smells. Great for pets and children to be around as well.

Very happy with this heater

Very efficient heater. Heater has 2 settings high & low. Does not have a fan but really does not need one as the heat also comes from the top of the heater. Ignition is from a C size battery so no need for electrical outlet. Highly recommended.
