Thanks for building and crafting what seems to be a good platform for the flat-footed person, Brooks. And after showing my podiatrist these shoes, he said, "Whoa. These shoes should be great for your feet...these are good shoes!" So, I guess these shoes, for my feet anyway, can honestly be rated as, "podiatrist approved!" 😊

However these aren't really natural or common motions, and the shoe works well on flat, even surfaces) If there's a way to increase the forefoot grip without compromising on the support and pronation correction, this would be the perfect shoe! (For my feet).I am so happy with my purchase of the addiction that it will be my my go to model for replacement of my daily driver footwear and will continue to be! (until either my feet or the model have drastic changes).

My foot loves these shoes. It prefers some firmness in the footbed because of my metatarsalgia.Soft footbeds give too much, causing pain. These shoes are perfect. However, my only complaint is that my forefoot pads and arch supports take up shoe space resulting in very little shoestring to tie. The shoestrings need to be longer; I wish Brooks would offer longer ones for purchase on its website. I had previously purchased the Adrenaline 23 but the footbed was too soft. I returned them after two months for a full refund; Brooks' return policy is awesome.

Exercise physiologist recommended the Brooks line to help with both arch support and a wider, more comfortable toe pocket after I started walking post-heart issues. The Addiction GTS 15 provides excellent arch support and the wider toe provides better balance for an older guy like me. I liked these so much, I ordered a second pair direct from Brooks! I do plenty of treadmill walking at just below jogging speed COMFORTABLY! Great walking sneaker toe to heel. Breathable. Highly recommended.

It’s the one shoe that has solved my issue with lower leg neuropathy, and was suggested by my physical therapist. It’s the one she wears.I also own one pair of the Addiction 15 GTS, because the daily walking shoes are wearing out. I have four suggestions for your designers: 1) Bring back the longer tongue, as it was on the 13. It’s more difficult to tie the laces on the 15 without tangling with the top edge of the tongue. 2) The 13 was no doubt a more comfortable shoe. Perhaps it’s less cushioning. Perhaps it’s less arch support. Perhaps it’s the change in the support technology. How do I go about sending back my pair of Addiction GTS Brooks shoe wide to E. I have not had them yet a year yet and they for some reason ripped out the side for my big toes at. I’m very disappointed. I’ve been told that these shoes have a two-year warning. I wanna know how to send them back I love Brooks they fit my feet, I need to get another pair. The other pair that I bought are black they are leather and the end of the soles on the toes the rubbers come loose from them already not even quite a year yet. I don’t understand why the quality is not there I don’t understand why these shoes ripped out with less than a year old. Can someone please contact me from customer service.
I love the Ghost and Adrenaline styles of shoes. They did not have my size for either one at the time of purchase so I got this one. I did send them back. They are quality, and sturdy shoes, they just didn't work well for my specific needs. I did get the 4E, and normally they are not THIS roomy. These are probably the widest of the wide shoes I have found. My only real complaint about this specific brand (not just style) is that they aren't very breathable and they get hot in the summer very quickly, but that seems to happen with every all black Brooks, regardless of style. I have extremely high arches, over flexible tendons, easily twist my ankles and dislocate knees, I get tendonitis quickly, and I'm heavy. There's a ridge that bothered my specific heel, and the arch isn't placed well for my particular (picky) high arched feet. Brooks are a family favorite. Even my children are in Brooks. They truly help us a lot... when we can find the styles that work - in our sizes. My only real complaint about the brand is that it's difficult to find the all blacks, and they don't size women's shoes to fit my female feet (due to high arches and wide feet, the womens only go to W and not 4E) so I have to wear men's, which are more bulky and difficult to match clothing to. They're almost always out of the all black, and I do not wear the other colors they have available so they would clash with everything I own. ;)

There was some discomfort along the arch, but nothing that made me think there was a problem, just a need to break-in the shoes. This remained the case with some small improvements to comfort as I wore the shoes around my home the first afternoon with them (doing chores and lounging). During the next couple of days, I wore them during a couple short walks of ~10 minutes each as well as during a weekly trip for groceries. As far as standard support for flat feet, this appears to be a very decent shoe (which is why this review is not 1 star).Unfortunately, the shoes became a problem when I ran some lengthier errands a couple days later, becoming so painful that I'm now returning the shoes. This occurred when I had to drive approximately 30 min to a particular store. On previous, short drives, I hadn't noticed anything, but the longer drive really allowed the pressure at the back of my ankle (to the side of my Achilles) to build up and become noticeable. This was on my right foot, and definitely related to the position necessary for using the pedals (I could not find any comfortable position that allowed me to effectively drive). While I couldn't quickly replicate this in the left foot and I definitely now notice the bit of built in heel support on both shoes. Before getting back on the road for the return trip, I tried re-lacing the shoes in the parking lot. However, this didn't work and the pain came back immediately quickly. It was so painful at this point that I had to take off the shoe before continuing the half hour drive back home.Due to the shear amount of pain, I this shoe can't act as my daily shoe (which I was hoping for) without experimenting with breaking the heal. Back when I was running competitively, I was a middle distance sprinter, and we used shoes like the Addiction for training when not using spikes. Since the pointing done during driving is similar to the foot orientation during sprinting (though that tends to a turn in while driving is more of a turn out), I would caution sprinters who are considering the Addiction, as well.
I bought similar Addiction shoes about 6 months ago. They made an annoying squeaking noise. I went back to where I bought them and they said to put talcum powder in them. They also said that Brooks would not do a refund.I emailed Brooks and got a reply in the time that they said they would, but the person made the same silly response, use talcum. The problem is that the squeak is coming from the tongue rubbing against the upper near where it is laced. I fixed the issue, (for the time being) by covering the edges of the tongues with medical tape. I will NEVER buy Brooks products again nor use the retailers.
