Disappointed. I have exclusively worn Brooks Adrenaline since before they started giving them numbers. They peaked at 19/20, but 21/22 are are backward step. 3 x major flaws. Lack of toe pad support makes you feel like you are wearing a wedge, in danger of sliding forwards and not enabling a dynamic roll. The tongue change to a tab with scalloped edges makes the shoe feel loose and enables small stones to get inside. Finally, the atrophied ankle cap also contributes to lack of stability. The 21/22 are like wearing a pair of sliders after wearing the 19/20. I stockpiled 4 pairs of the 19 when I realised how good they were, I am just sorry it was not 40 pairs. Please revert to the superior design of the 19/20 - call it something else if you must - and save the dice ... MoreDisappointed. I have been using Adrenaline GTS for about 3 years now. First started with Glycerin 15 and switched over to Adrenaline because one of my friend really liked Ghost and switched to Adrenaline GTS 18 (due to his overpronation). Adrenaline line has still been satisfying and the support of Guiderails works well.I am hoping to try out Glycerin 19 and if the cushion and fit is still as comfortable and good as it was with the 15s. I have supination and I discovered recently from my Adrenaline 21 wearing out too prematurely and my knees starting to hurt whenever my shoes’ outsole become thinner. Apparently the support shoes can be against my kind of runners which just means they are working. Brooks shoes work perfectly with different type of runners since they got many different choices (Neutral or Support, Energize or Cushion, etc). Their customer service is pretty timely mannered and friendly which is why I have no worries trying out new pairs even if it can go wrong.

So far this is a good shoe. I've just moved from Asics Kayanos, which I've been wearing for years. The Adrenalins have a nice snug fit, has a slight bounce and springiness to them but not dramatic.I actually like the heel lift on these as it forces me to run off my toes more.I did make the mistake of wearing improper socks for my first 10km run in them, and started getting blisters on the inside of my arches. Hopefully next big run this doesn't happen, but I usually blame socks for the friction. Bit hard to say as yet.Anyway great shoe for the price!
I got both the Adrenaline 22 and 21 GTS shoes based off reviews, some loved the 22 some loved the 21. I was desperate for comfort at work, I walk 13-20 miles a day on concrete floors and have some over pronation so these seemed like a perfect fit. The 22 2e was actually slightly wider in the mid foot area and both comfortable in the toe box for me. Great heel support and I think the perfect cushion. The 21 I could feel the guide rails on the interior side of my bigger foot which was concerning but as soon as I got my super feet adapt run insoles in…. Good lord they are crazy comfortable. The 21 I feel like are a lot more comfortable for me, I’m going to return the 22 and purchase a few more pairs of the 21 while I still can. I work 10-14 hour shifts and no foot pain ... MoreI got both the Adrenaline 22 and 21 GTS shoes based off reviews, some loved the 22 some loved the 21. I work 10-14 hour shifts and no foot pain and it really helped with the pronation as my knee wasn’t bothering me at al even after a 12 hour shift on this nasty concrete. Literally what I consider perfect. If your debating between the 21 and 22, I would suggest trying both! I’m glad I did, I found the perfect work shoe which is a complete life saver.
I am 68 years old now, I fell off a height back at the end of 2014, landed hard on both feet, but broke the bones in both feet into many pieces, Titanium bridging plates and numerous screws were drilled in by the surgeon to hold the bone fragments together whilst they mended. After the customary 6 months in a wheelchair another 6 months on crutches and in moon boots, severe pain became the norm and what had still prevented me from walking any distance 8 years later regardleds of what shoes I wore.Whilst in America early 2022 spending time with my daughters new family and trying to keep my 1 year old grandson busy at the playground and 1klm walks in the stroller, debilitating pain had me in bed with feet elevated recovering between outings. My daughter surprised me ... MoreI am 68 years old now, I fell off a height back at the end of 2014, landed hard on both feet, but broke the bones in both feet into many pieces, Titanium bridging plates and numerous screws were drilled in by the surgeon to hold the bone fragments together whilst they mended. My daughter surprised me with a gift of a pair of Brooks Adrenaline 21 GTS pair of US 8.5 2E runners/walkers, they fitted like a glove straight out of the box, it felt like walking on a cloud, the impact pain previously felt dusapeared, and had me almost in tears of unexpected pain relief and walking happiness. I have not tried running in my Adrenaline's, nor am I ever likely to ever try running again due to the plates and screws remaining holding my feet bones together, but, I have worn these Brooks Adrenaline miracles solid for the past 15 months, and have probably clocked up thousands of painless walking kilometers. The old Adrenaline's are still serving me well, but, my wearing them in my garage doing car services and repairs, has them looking worse for wear.My wifes protests have me decide to religate this pair to workshop only duty, and led me to buy not one, not two, but three pairs of Brooks for everyday (more dustinguised look) service, I bought an identical pair of Brooks Adrenaline 21, a pair of Brooks Glycerine 19, and are trying a pair of cheaper Brooks Ravenna 11, to be honest, I can not see my self buying anything other than Brooks, Cusion Support Runners ever again, my damaged feet have improved more in the last 15 months than they did in the previous 8 years since surgery, the pain whilst walking in Brooks has all but vanished, only to partially resurface when I become complacent and try wearing other shoes. To anyone interested in doing the best towards looking after ones feet, my personal and honest advice is as follows; try a pair of Brooks Support Cushioned pair of runners, and let me know if you too are likely to never walk or run in anything else ever again.Thank you Brooks, your shoes, and the surgeon who managed to screw my feet back together, deserve a medal and my life long gratitude.
This is my second pair of these shoes. I wear them for work as a teacher. I have long slim flat feet and wear orthotics. I find these shoes have been very comfortable for all day wear, largely standing and walking. I love the colour range - allows me to wear these for work without them looking overly like runners. My only criticism is that the reason I have bought a second pair is that the first ones have started to die a bit earlier than I would have expected, and the black and white pattern that I like isn't being made in the new model. I have worn Brooks shoes for over 20 years and have found in the last 3-4 years that the mid-soles tend to warp and collapse earlier than older models. Other than that, these shoes are great.
Have been a fan of Brooks after switching from Asics due to fast wear & tear. Previously had Ghost 13 but purchased the GTS 22 based on other reviews. While comfortable and great on dry flat ground, I find these incredibly slippery underfoot when the ground is wet. This becomes dangerously so when I'm finishing my run which is a long downhill stretch of road. Not overly steep but my feet feel about to slip with every step and I have to slow right up to avoid crashing to the ground.Good on dry flat ground but not when there's a little rain or dew.
These shoes are utter garbage. Like all Brooks shoes, they fit like a glove and are very comfortable initially. The problem is that these are built to fail with moderate use. They are cheaply glued together with what appears to be rubber cement. The seam near the big toe ripped like some other reviewers noted. Ended up just trashing them and bringing an old 2019 pair out of the back of the closet. I'm seriously considering never buying a pair of Brooks again. Apparently, you can't even PAY for quality anymore.
I recently purchased a new pair of running shoes and have been extremely impressed with their comfort and fit. As soon as I put them on, I could tell that they were going to be a game-changer for my runs. The shoes feel great on my feet and provide a lot of support and stability, which is important for me as I tend to have a bit of overpronation. They also have a nice cushioned feel, which helps to absorb the impact of my feet hitting the pavement.I've been using these shoes for a few weeks now and have put them through their paces on a variety of runs, from short, quick intervals to longer distance runs.
