I honestly don’t know one single women who would wear these. Not even my grandma would. I could see maybe for nurses or something but nothing in outdoorsy or rustic colors. Muted blue, olive greens, mustard, tans etc..even hunter green or navy they throw in other colors that are back to looking like they are for 8 year olds. Would love to see some black and olive green. 15’s are a total loser

I’m so disappointed in the 15’s. I’ve worn Ghost forever, it’s my favorite shoe. The 14’s sucked so I was so hoping they’d go back toward the beloved design of 13’s, which were the best in a few years. Nope. Not only are the 15’s hideously freaking ugly, and no matter how tight you pull the laces they come undone, and the tongue turns sideways constantly. Besides those slight complaints, the real issue is the hugely wide toe box and middle. I tighten the laces as tight as they’ll go, literally, and it’s still too roomy, but stiff and lacking arch support as well. I’m sending them all back. Thank Christ I have a metric ton of 13’s in decent shape still because I’m apparently going to have to wear them another year or find a different shoe. Another great ghost

I’ve ran in the ghost series for years, and this is another great running shoe! Unlike a lot of other reviewers I loved the ghost 14, and after doing a long run in the ghost 15s today with no break-in I can confidently say they are fantastic! They are very cushioned and comfortable. The tongue seems slightly thicker/more padded than the 14 and the heel seems to be a little more cushioned. I don’t notice a real difference in the size of the toe box from the 14 wearing both pairs side by side as other reviewers have mentioned. The current color offerings are not great which is the only downside. I got the Spa Blue/Neo Pink/ Copper and the blue is quite purple which I do not like, but since I mostly use them on the treadmill the color isn’t as important. Best running shoes in the market for sore feet

Brooks Ghost: Absolute Perfection

I love the Brooks Ghost! I've been wearing the "ghost series" for over ten years, and won't purchase any other running shoe! I started wearing the Ghost 11, and realized that it was the most comfortable athletic shoe that I've ever worn...... and I've worn almost all of the different brands over the years. Some of the other companies that design and sell athletic footwear were good, and some were bad. But, Brooks has been great! I've continued to purchase the Ghost Line (11, 12, 13, 14, and now 15). I love them and can't bear to throw the old ones away. I still have my "original" Ghost 11's in the back of my closet. These are MIRACLE Shoes for me, bought 1 more pair and buying another the end of the month. Can walk pain Free, although standing for a long period of time is painful, I have Plantar Fasciitis and at first these aggravated it in my right heel. I ordered these back in May and didn't wear them cus of the pain, my Adrenaline GTS21's wore out so I had no choice. I forced myself to wear them and dealt with the pain, in my opinion I haven't found a Shoe as great as the Adrenaline GTS20. Those I was on my feet all day and walking around and had no pain AT ALL, the GTS21's were great too as far as a roomy toebox. Not my favorite series of the Ghost shoes

I was so excited to see the Ghost 15's come out that I automatically pre-ordered two pairs. Mainly because I love the new design. Personal preference but wasn't a huge fan of the Ghost 14 design. Anyway, even though I love the design of the 15s, sadly I'm not a fan of the comfort. I have planters facitis and rely on my Brooks Ghosts to make it feel better and more bearable. The 15s do not accomplish that. My heel actually hurts when wearing them where the other Ghosts I own do not. The 3 stars is for the design. I'm actually contemplating whether not to return the 2 pair I ordered. I wish the comfort of the 12s and 13s would come back. Also want to note, for some reason I find the laces on these come undone easily. I have run exclusively in Ghost sneakers since 2011, often purchasing multiple pairs per year. Although the 15s are better than the 14s, they are still drastically different from the previous models. The main issue is that they are shallow. It felt like my foot was very straight in the shoe. They are also not nearly as soft. I also think the photos and descriptions leave something to be desired. It is hard to tell what color you are purchasing. I thought I was buying a purple sneaker with black soles. It was blue-indigo with soles that are not blue but also not black. This is cosmetic and I would have kept them if the shoe felt like the original Ghosts. Prettier colors and fewer crazy patterns please!

All I wear is the Ghost every day. I have multiple foot, knee and hip issues. This is the ONLY shoe I can wear without pain. I know this shoe is made for running but every year I am disappointed with the color choices. I would love to see a pretty pink or lighter blue shoe in a solid color with a LIGHT sole ( not black). I think a shoe in different shades of the same color would be pretty. I have another friend who wears their ghosts every day all day because of foot issues. My leisure activities included hiking, climbing, and week-long motorcycle trips spent with my feet resting on the highway pegs of my vintage Harley-Davidson. In other words, NOT a sedentary life, and plenty of wear and tear on my tootsies.After debilitating injuries in an accident, all that changed. Look up 'Complex Regional Pain Syndrome' and you'll get an idea of what I deal with. It can take trying a dozen or more pairs of shoes or boots to find ones I can wear for any length of time, and even the best can only be worn for limited amounts of time before the pain becomes excruciating. Comfortable at first, but I've been fooled before. I have a stack of next-to-new shoes that were comfortable right up to the moment they were too scuffed to return, at which point they turned into malicious torture devices. 😡Not so with these. Comfortable when I first tried them on, comfortable for a three-mile hike around my neighborhood and, even AFTER my three-mile walk, so comfortable that I forgot to take them off for several hours! That's a first. I haven't put a ton of miles on these yet, but they have already proven better than anything I've tried in the nineteen years since my accident.In the interest of fairness, I tried a couple of the other Brooks shoes I'd ordered, as well. The Adrenalines didn't work for my foot - not enough room in the toebox - but the Ghost 14s felt as if they might could do everything the 15s did. In fact, if I hadn't already fallen in love with the Ghost 15s, I probably would have kept the 14s.I don’t know what shape your feet are in, but mine are a tragic, painful mess, and the Ghost 15s make walking bearable again. I’m VERY grateful for that! 👍
