I wore last year's version of these for just under a year. To be comfortable, I had to not lace them to the top hole. They call them waterproof, but as with every other waterproof shoe I've had it lasts only briefly. For these, it was less than 2 months. Just short of a year, the soles came loose from the uppers. I am not a runner. Although I am active, these shoes were just worn for my everyday outside life. Other similar shoes have made it through 2 or 3 years before coming apart. These were a huge disappointment.

I have been loving these sneakers for my go to training sneaker. The fit and feel are excellent and maintain the level of quality I’ve come to find with Brooks products. They fit true to size and are extremely comfortable. The mesh fabric is breathable yet I feel supported in the toe area. The cushioning soles are the best way to hit a workout without feeling every bit of pressure. I also love the classic all black colorway it compliments any workout gear I’m rocking. I have been reaching for these consistently and am very happy with the performance.

Huge fan of the Ghost 16 GTX. Took them out of the box and hiked a 4 mile loop with the family. Conditions were a little slick, and the Ghost performed great. The shoe has excellent traction and great support, I felt comfortable enough to have my 3 year old on my shoulders for most of the hike even on slick rock and steep inclines. The Gore-Tex finish kept my feet dry throughout the hike. The Ghost 16 has become my new go to for family hikes.These shoes have also performed well at the gym.
