Step into luxury with Brooks Glycerin 20. Brooksrsquo tradition of making the Glycerin softer and more cushioned continues in version 20. The Glycerin 20 now features nitrogen-infused DNA LOFT v3 cushioning, which is their softest midsole technology. It is optimized to be lightweight, responsive, cushioned and durable while providing a bouncier ride. Brooks redesigned the midsole and outsole by widening the platform for smooth and easy transitions. The upper gives you a secure fit thanks to plush and breathable engineered air-mesh. One reviewer said the Brooks Glycerin 20 fits true to size. It has a light, flexible upper that wraps comfortably around my foot. The heel collar and tongue feel super soft, and the laces are slightly textured to prevent slippage. A bonus is that the laces are long enough to tie the marathon loop. The materials feel premium and add to the overall plushness of the shoe, in our Brooks Glycerin 20 review. Plus, the toe box has more volume for your toes to spread out. If you want a tighter-fitting knit upper, then look at the Brooks Glycerin StealthFit 20. Plush, responsive and comfortable, the Brooks Glycerin 20 lets you forget your feet and focus on your run.

I bought these shoes a few weeks ago and I’m obsessed! They are extremely comfortable and make my feet so happy!! I have wide feet and was worried about these shoes fitting properly. I took a chance and ordered the only width available, B. They are so roomy! The wide size would have been too big! I normally wear a size 8.5, but went to a size 9 to be safe. Best decision! I have a lot of feet issues and these shoes are worth every penny! I can walk miles in these shoes comfortably! Love the colors too!

I purchased these shoes less than a month ago from today (08.04.22). Best running shoes that have ever bought. They lived up to all the hype about running on hard services like concrete and asphalt. Very comfortable when landing on feet in stride. Other shoes haven't had that support and feel. I have bought Hoka, Nike and Adidas shoes, and none have come close. I highly recommend these shoes if you run on sidewalks or pavement. I search for other surfaces, but COVID prevents me from running on rubberized high school tracks. The are bit pricey, but we'll worth it as a great investment to having a great run without all the pain afterwards. Try to find DSG coupons online to help bring the price down. Happy and safe running!

Glycerin 19 is one of my favorite shoes. I bought two of them. When I heard that the 20 will have the new nitrogen infused outsole, I was intrigued. At first when you put them on, it felt similar to the 19, but the real magic comes when you start running on them. The midsole provides a smooth bouncy transition, while offering plenty of cushion. Has easily become one of my favorite shoes. Looking forward to add more miles to it.

I am a Brooks fan, the only running shoe I will wear because of its fit and design that helps with my high arch. The Ghost is my go to shoe and the Glycerine is my long run shoe. When I saw the Glycerine 20's were coming out, I immediately had to get a pair. I loved the previous version. I loved to look of the shoe (triple black) and the fit felt like my old Ghosts, almost like a race shoe. So far so good. But then I wore them on my long run. Unlike my previous Glycerine's, the 20's had no cushioning or bounce. It took a toll on the bottom of my feet. I purchased a padded insole to help absorb some of the shock, and tried that out last night, but it had limited impact. It almost feels like I am running in my work dress shoes. I was told that the shoe takes a while to break in so I will continue wearing them hoping that I start to feel some shock absorbtion. In my case, the impact is felt in the ball of my foot. I hope this changes because I like the fit of these. Ironically, my new Ghosts feel like my old Glycerines and my new Glycerines feel like my old Ghosts. As of right now, the Glycerine 20's are not what I had hoped.
I'm 56 years old, 6'1 205lbs. Run/Bike/Swim. I've been running in Bondi shoes for about 2 years now, and have had multiple Achilles issues when using those shoes. I think it's due to the low heal drop and maybe how cushioned/unstable they are. I did a lot of reading and also went to a local runners shoe store to see if the articles panned out.Boy did they. This shoe (in wide) is so perfect for my wide, high arch feet. To me they feel just about a cushioned as the Bondi, but in a supportive way. They are also very airy feeling. Light. My feet no longer underpronate so badly that my pinky toe and outer edges of my feet hurt. Also, with the higher heal drop my achilles pain has finally stopped. I'm back to running my long distances without much if any pain. While neutral, these shoes keep your feet stable. I notice no outer edge tread wear like I did in my Bondi's. And boy was it bad on the Bondi shoes! I would wear out under my pinky toe area and also the outer heal. On the Brooks the wear pattern looks pretty even!I also suffer from Metatarsal pain. With these shoes, even with the higher heal drop, I don't have any. That's amazing. I had Metatarsal pain with the Bondi's, even though they are supposedly higher cushioned. My thoughts on shoes has completely changed. I purchased another pair.
I have not purchased a running/walking shoe for about 20 years as I was a basketball coach and received new shoes every year. After I retired from coaching and the need for shoes arose I started trying to find a pair that suited my needs and were comfortable and fashionable. I tried all of the major brands and found that these shoes by Brooks provided the best fit and comfort for me. I also liked the simple, but stylish look of this model. I am very happy with my purchase of these shoes.
The nature of job required consistent travel for the last 5o years. Consequently I was subjected to constant change in running conditions, surfaces including a wide variety of treadmills, from horrible to excellent. Like many who may read this review , I have owned most brands of running shoes. While always open to innovation, I still keep my buying options open but have established Brooks as my preferred brand and the glycerin shoe in the Brooks product line. The glycerin 20 is INMO the best so far in the line and has exceeded my expectations after 200 miles. The fit, cushion, interior and exterior structure support my aging muscle skeleton body and the wide fit and toe box accommodates my higher arches perfectly.
I have worn Glyceriens on and off for years for training purposes only, obviously not for races. Need a 2E and find the 20 has the best fit of them all. Feels like the upper just wraps around my foot and were made just for me. At first I thought there was too much cushion? I have come to love them after a few runs and have already bought a 2nd pair that arrives tomorrow. This is a glycerin that will be hard to improve on. Brooks will find a way.Daniel
I purchased the Glycerin 20 GTS with the hope it would mimic walking on air. This model is sadly disappointing from the upper to the midsole! This shoe is bigger than the previous model with lots of room in the toe box, I have a large foot 13 borderline wide and these fit me huge. I can’t imagine someone with a more narrow foot trying to swim in these. The midsole was a huge let down, if you’re expecting zoomx type performance keep looking. If you’re looking for an easy day recovery shoe I’d suggest New Balance fresh foam or Nike invincible run 3’s over the Glycerin 20. The updated foam feels dull and brick like on foot. My Pegasus 39’s have more give than these. So much wrong with this shoe, hopefully Brooks can figure things out with the next model.
I've been running with Brooks for some time now, always with a size 10.5. Ordered these in 10.5 and they were tight. felt slightly shorter in length and tighter in midfoot. Not sure if this is just my experience as I am comparing my current brooks ghost to these or this is the case of glycerin in general. Otherwise, these seem super well built and a ton of padding. As long as sizing is correct, I am sure these are great shoes to run in.
