I have high arches, narrow heels, and normally fit between a 2E and D, so finding a shoe that fits well, is comfortable, has plenty of padding, and doesn't slip is hard.I had a shoe from another brand that had the sock type liner that I love, but is old and beat up and have had problems finding another. This shoe was intriguing, but unfortunately didn't come in a 2E, but I decided to try it anyway. Glad I did. I fits perfectly.Prior to purchasing it I read all the reviews, especially the negative ones.I have a suggestion that may solve the issues of some buyers saying it was too narrow, pinched, and didn't work for high arches as I initially had those issues when I first tried on the shoe. When you first try on the shoe, loosen the laces all the way to the ... MoreI have high arches, narrow heels, and normally fit between a 2E and D, so finding a shoe that fits well, is comfortable, has plenty of padding, and doesn't slip is hard.I had a shoe from another brand that had the sock type liner that I love, but is old and beat up and have had problems finding another. Amazing difference. Fit now is perfect.Great shoe.

They were garbage for lack of other words. I they tried my feet too much and the material was already coming apart after 3 times of wear. I'm 6 feet 230 lbs and these are bad. Returned promptly.

I bought these for my husband to replace his worn out running shoes and he loves them so far. He said they're light and feel very supportive while he is walking and running on pavement. The shoe has a good amount of stability in the ankle and the toe box is not too tight either, which is sometimes a concern for him. Overall, he is very happy with these.

Mostly Walking and everyday wear.Normally I'm between a D and 2E.Fits great but you need to loosen the laces all the way to the last horizontal lace and tighten it starting there the first time.Otherwise it feels tight. Do this and fit feels like a sock. Great.
Great shoes at a competitive price. It’s hard to beat the price of the newest running/walking shoes at academy. Brooks makes a tremendous shoe and I buy a new pair every year from academy
This shoe is exactly what I thought it would be - light, stable and provides a nice snug fit in the upper. I am 5'10 and 175 ibs and I am usually a neutral runner but as I am aging I find I need a little more stability and this shoe provides that. I have only ran in them 5-6 times but so far so good.
They are very comfortable. The top part of the shoe seems a little loose even with making the laces tighter. That is what I notice when I am running. When I am not running very comfortable like I said.
My son loves his Glycerin Stealthfit 20 shoes. Since wearing Brooks his severs pain has disappeared. Im so gratful. Thankyou.
The outsole is very comfortable, and competently absorbs impact for heavy runners, but that is about all this shoe has going for it. Compared to the Glycerin 20, the Stealthfit has a sloppy fit. The reduced volume of the upper, particularly in the heel and collar, creates a lot of slipping. The heel slips, no matter what. If you tighten the shoe aggressively, the heel will not come up, but it will still slip downward when your foot strikes the ground, and when the shoe is laced more tightly, it creates more pressure on the heel, which worsens the rubbing. The heel counter is very rigid, and only separated from the foot by a thin fabric. This causes a lot of hard rubbing against the heel skin, which will definitely cause blisters and skin tearing over long runs. The heel counter is very rigid, and only separated from the foot by a thin fabric. This causes a lot of hard rubbing against the heel skin, which will definitely cause blisters and skin tearing over long runs. The only solution I have found is this: lace the shoe VERY LOOSELY, so when the heel slipping happens, there is so little pressure against my heel that the rubbing is not abrasive. Also, while the upper is lighter than in the regular Glycerin 20, it is also less breathable. The material is tightly weaved, and restricts air movement. I recommend buying the regular Glycerin 20 for overall comfort, especially in the heel, and for better ventilation.
I am not a high mileage runner, but run and walk over 20 miles a week. This shoe has an elastic cover under the laces, no tongue. Because I have high arches, the shoe is uncomfortable on top of my foot. It also has a skirt along the top of the opening, to keep rocks out I suppose. Adds nothing to the shoe for me other than making it more difficult to put on. May be time to switch back to ASICS.
