I'm just confused about the good reviews for these. I've never been more unhappy with a pair of shoes - they make my feet hurt so badly that I can't wear them. I hardly ever leave reviews but definitely felt compelled to here. I dont have any foot problems and am a trail walker/runner. I've heard good things about Brooks and gave the brand a try but I'm super disappointed.

My favorite running shoe for years. They are lightweight with excellent front cushioning for toe-strikers like myself. I run just over 5K every day, and they hold up very well for 100+ miles per month. I have had several pairs of Launch 8s, and this is my second pair of Launch 9s. Brooks keeps making the Launch model better and better.

I know that things change but the Launch 9 doesn't come anywhere close to their best version which was the Launch 5. The shoe is very confusing -it is very lightweight - no padding on tongue either - but also feels fairly stiff through the sole. I really dislike the flat shoelaces. Fortunately, I will only use this shoe in the gym as a cross trainer and for tempo runs but I would not consider this a serious outdoor running shoe. Even though there are things I dislike about it, I have found that Brooks fits my foot really well.

I have long and narrow feet and in the past Brooks have not been a fit. These are structured narrow, but I think that is more for the speed function. The toe box has plenty of room if your foot is a bit wider but I don't find myself sliding around. The heel is low profile and hardly noticeable. My favorite part about this shoe is the tongue, it has padding so it doesn't rub on the top of the foot if I decide to go with a tighter lacing method. It does run a bit big but not enough for me to size down. I use these for HIIT workouts and short distance running.
Brooks are my new favorite brand of athletic shoes. I purchased these for comfort while working out and they exceeded my expectations. They are comfortable and has the support that I need. They fit true to size and I really love the color! I purchased the pink ones. I get numerous compliments in the gym. Goodbye Nike and hello Brooks!
I picked these up as I was heading out of town for a weekend girls' trip. I did not know there was hiking included in the weekend activities, so therefore I did not bring my old hiking shoes. I broke these out and hiked up moderate hiking trails for several hours and they were so comfortable. I had always worn Mizuno's, but couldn't find my usuals, so tried these. Brooks will now be my go-to brand.
I have been a Brooks fan for years. I run and walk in a treadmill. This shoe is very light and the bed is thin. The box of the shoe is narrower than normal and not enough padding in the heel which makes this shoe a better running shoe than a walking shoe. However, I was able to add a heal insert and now it feels better for the treadmill walk. I had a Launch 9 4 years ago and they have changed the design a lot. Still have my old one as a knock about shoe and you can see the difference. DSW had a good sales price on this and it was time for a new workout shoe. Still love Brooks!
These shoes were recommended to me by my podiatrist due to my high arches. Don’t get me wrong, I love my Nikes but who knew how good shows we’re supposed to feel until I got these. I have and LOVE the white but I wish they had better color options. Not loving the others offered right now. Would love to buy a second pair but waiting for better color combos.
The intended Christmas present of new running shoes for my wife was not delivered as far as i knew. Brooks provided evidence of a signed receipt which i pointed out was in my view forged. I was disappointed by the loss. However, when i submitted that to Brooks, a couple of weeks later the shoes arrived in the original package. I can't thank Brooks enough for putting pressure when it should have been and having the shoes returned.
I am loyal user of the adrenalines and glycerins and have been for years, and use them to run. Upon receiving these I was surprised at how lightweight they are, super super lightweight, extremely comfortable and look flattering with any fit. To be honest I got these for walking as the price was reasonable during Easter sale but managed one run in them so far and I'm really surprised at how lightweight they are, they push me forward! Super super comfortable! Anyone looking for comfortable yet lightweight these are it! As for running... I may have to switch to these :) What a bargain
