I got this as a 60th birthday present and although I haven’t actually seen anything yet I have been trying the different stitches. The only thing I can’t get to work is the auto threatening. The foot change is nice a easy not small screws to mess with, and the push button sewing is great. But I’m looking forward to seeing plenty of summer dresses soon

Had this machine as a Christmas present. It is wonderful, very easy to start using, the manual that comes with it is very easy to follow. The range of stitches are amazing and it is very quiet. I love the hard case to protect it, it is light and portable. It comes with a good range of accessories.

I bought my machine a week ago. I’m amazed at the features. I upgraded from an NS30 I’d had for nine years. I love the more advanced needle threader and particularly like the cutter. It’s so quiet and so easy to select the stitches. The buttonhole foot is so easy to use with a great selection of shapes. It will be terrific to take to my Guild meetings as well. I particularly like the extension table that came as a bonus with the machine. It will allow me the space to do Ruler Quilting on this machine.
My husband bought this machine for me for my birthday, After lots of research he found the best one. I absolutely love it. It has some awesome features and sews beautifully. It is also a lot quieter than my other one and I love it. Alec, at Echidna, was awesome to deal with and had everything sorted smoothly and my machine was delivered 2 days later. This is a great machine. A really good step up from the basic sewing machine. I love the trimmer and the 1-step buttonholes are so easy. I would highly recommend this for beginners thru to experienced sewers. It’s superb quality and I expect to get at least another 30 years like my last brother sewing machine. This machine has a quality feel and sews beautifully. You won’t go wrong with this machine.
I’ve always had a Brother sewing machine and would thoroughly recommend them. I was a bit wary of choosing this machine as I thought it would be too complicated. How wrong was I, it is so user friendly! I really enjoy using this machine and am looking forward to using the wide range of stitches. The thread cutter is an added bonus too!
I have only had this machine for 1 month but so far I love it! I have had Husqvarna & Janome machines in the past, but this has the BEST auto- threader. I use this machine for a few decorative stitches on quilts & buttonholes as I have a straight stitch machine for all my main sewing. The A150 is very user friendly without complicated computerisation. The walking foot is weaker than my straight stitcher, but I knew what I was getting into. This would be a perfect machine for a confident beginner to intermediate sewist.Brett at the Capalaba Store was very good to deal with and he was very helpful.
This machine has everything on it you need before looking to upgrade to a quilting machine. Love how quiet it is. Hard cover means it sits nicely in the car when i go to class. Great needle threader, speed control makes doing applique a breeze.
So I bought this baby to use for sewing pants, dresses, tops etc. because I knew that Zips and Buttonholes were on my horizon. The automation in this machine will make my sewing more enjoyable and I can, with all the automation even with stop, starting each seam with the automatic start 3 stitch and the automatic cut off at the end of each seam, this beast is going to be such an asset to my sewing.
