We have had this printer for 2 weeks now, an so far so good. It is a workhorse printer with black and white output. No a lot of thrills , just nice and solid. We were using a HP110w and the thing would drop the network often and we would have to reboot. But the Brother has worked on the network without issue. I also like the multiple input ports the Brother offers, where HP only offered one input (wireless) so if the network drops I can plug into the Brother and start printing without a hitch.

I'm a small business owner and was a faithful Brother customer for many years. Have had multiple machines lasting up to 10 years and longer! This one another story... 1 month out of warranty creasing pages and bleeding toner and I'm forced to replace after 13 months. I tried tech support which which didn't correct any of the issues but advised to seek out a support center. I can't have down time with any of my printers. I'm now forced to buy another printer. Not a Brother.

Fast and Prints Look Great - Wifi Easy to Set Up

I have had this for a week. I am amazed at how fast it is. It is a workhorse I expect to have for years to come. The build quality is amazing. Prints are lightning fast. Get it and dont look back if you have a real need to print thousands of pages per month. That makes it a no brainer. Even at 1200 dpi setting it is fast. The wifi setup is easy because it is designed to be the default way you set it up. So they really made it user friendly.

Great Brother Printer
3 January 2022

This HL-L6200DW printer replaces a similar 12 yr old Brother laser printer. The 6200 appears to have a bit better build quality but same compact styling. The L6200DW is very easy to set up. Virtually a plug and play setup. The printer setup will guide you through all steps. The printer is fast, duplex printing and the paper tray holds a full 500 sheet ream of paper. After having other name brand printers for 30 yrs, I discovered Brother laser printers work as well or better and the consumable products are much less expensive. Don't hesitate to try a Brother printer. They are workhorses and will last for years and cost you less.

Great at First
13 January 2023

I have only had this printer since around last April and a couple months ago I started to have problems with the prints coming out folded, crinkled, and/or with excess toner covering the pages. Initially I thought it was because I was printing too many pages at once, causing the rollers to get too hot and not properly hold onto the pages correctly, then I started to print the things I needed at a slower pace, about 6-12 pages with about 5 minutes in between, rather than 50-100 at a time, with little to no time between prints. Since I started to do it at the slower rate it feels like I've been getting more and more crinkled papers and it is costing me time and money having to reprint so many pages. I will say those first few months of me owning this printer were nice, but since I started having this issue, it has been nothing but a sour experience.

Heavy duty office printing machine.
17 May 2021

I purchased this machine with one thing in mind, being a reliable and cheap operating printer. I had gotten very tired of the high cost multi-colored jet-ink machines and no longer considered color as being important factor for most of my printing needs. My copies are just perfect and quick without the noise. Setup is fairly easy and simple! With jet ink printing I had replace the ink after only a few hundred papers. Where as with the Laser toner my replacement is usually after 5000 pages or so. I enjoy the small footprint, especially the large paper box and the very reliable WIFI printing! This printer has been wonderful so far! I usually print large files and had no delays or issues due to the large ram chip that is in this machine. No real issues other than feeding it paper and toner! I print from my phone, tablets and laptops with no problems! Toner TN850 is fairly cheap and available at most stores eg: Sam's club or Costco. The only negative is that the power cord is about one or two feet shorter than I like and should of come with at least with a USB printer cable. Thank you for your time in reading my review!

Impressive
20 July 2022

I have had this about 2 weeks and I am impressed. Good, clear prints, even when converting from color to black and white - not too much greying of CAD lines. The machine is fast - both to first page printed and print rate - way faster than our main copier. I would buy again without hesitation. I really like the paper tray holding 500 sheets - one of the main reason I bought it. I will print about 30 000 pages a year on this printer so paper changing on my previous 250 sheet paper tray printer was a pain. My only complaint is that it is noisy when it prints. If it was not on my desk, this would not be an issue, but it is much noisier than the smaller bother all in one's I previously had - but a *lot* faster. I am connected via USB, so cannot speak to the WIFI or LAN ... MoreI have had this about 2 weeks and I am impressed. Super Ez to set up and use printer
12 January 2023

I bought this printer about 5 months ago and I'm more than satisfied. I actually forgot how I set it up to work for my computer but I guess that just goes to show how easy the process was/is. It is hooked up wireless and I haven't had a single incident of problems or issues. It had one annoying feature about it. It would go into sleep mode if set idle for more than a few minutes and it isn't easy to wake it up for use. I googled the issue and learned how to keep it from going to sleep. Ever since I resolved that minor issue, I absolutely love this printer. It responds fast as lightning when I get ready to print now. It responds fast and prints fast. Zero complaints and I'd buy this printer again without hesitation. Highly recommend!

Toner rejection issue
23 January 2023

I was suffering an issue after replacing the toner cartridge. The computer refused to recognize the new cartridge. I could not get the printer to reset. "Please replace the toner" message was resistent to the reset method that was provided with the new Brother cartridge. I was able to work with a virtual assistant. The problem was resolved and the online help emailed a message with the detailed procedure that was not provided with the new cartridge. Thank you for being there to help!

big problem with creative suite!
22 November 2022

Bought this Brother computer to use with Mac OS, primarily using Word and Adobe Creative Suite. Set up and connecting was fine. Worked like a dream with Word. Tried to print InDesign document—print was sketchy at best, like in draft mode. Tried exporting to pdf -- same result. Called Brother. One hour on the phone while tech support walked me through cleaning the brand new printer (If that was the problem, Word docs would be sketchy, too). Finally — the problem is Adobe. One hour on phone with Adobe ending with — yep, the problem is Brother; you need a PPD (printer driver). Back to Brother for an hour of on-line support (very tedious and slow): end result, "We don't have PPDs for OS 11, 12 or 13." ???? I don't believe the machine can't be made to work with Adobe, ... MoreBought this Brother computer to use with Mac OS, primarily using Word and Adobe Creative Suite. Set up and connecting was fine.
