Still very new to this machine as it's my first one. Have used it for large embroidered letters which looks very good. Also for making (made with love) labels for G/Children clothes. Also a small applique. Am still learning and can see that there is a lot to get through. All in all a very good machine and very pleased with it.

Excellent wish there were more patterns for the very tiny frame

I am a few months into using the Brother NV880E Embroidery Machine and i must say i am loving it. I highly recommend this machine for those just starting off in embroidery as it is a very user friendly machine. With this being my first embroidery machine i found the features such as the help buttons extremely helpful. Towards the start I had a lot of difficulty understanding how to use it, so this feature definitely came in handy. If i was ever confused with anything I would go back and see how to do it using this feature. I love that this machine came with different hoop sizes, it made the experience much better as i wasn't having to find different hoops and sizes. The machine itself isn't too bulky or heavy, i love that you can easily pick it up and store it away. The screen size is perfect and the in built design of the machine is great. I wasn't a huge fan of the designs that came with the machine as i prefer more modern, fun and edgy designs- it definitely gives me more of an old school vibe, but hey, each to their own.One of the biggest problems that I had encountered while using this machine was that when I would try to load a design via USB and get it to start embroidering, a message popped up saying 'not enough storage available' or something along those lines. This was quite frustrating as it was only a new machine and i had not saved any files. To add to my frustration I had not seen any alternatives to solving this issue on the brother website and paperwork that came with it. While I did love the machine this problem became more frequent with the other designs I tried to upload, I knew that it wasn't the files because they were all PES and were compatible with the machine. I then took it to the internet and tried to see if others were having the same problem and because this is a new model there were very few post or videos about it. It wasn't until i found a video on youtube where this lady was encountering this same issue with the same embroidery machine. Thank God i found her video because i was pretty close to getting in contact with the echidna staff and asking to change my machine. What she was basically saying that when you upload your file onto the machine, you press the add option on the screen, you press the letters (where you can write a name or add words) and instead of writing a name you just add in a full stop (the symbol . ), at least that's what i have been doing before pressing embroider. The full stop symbol will be added in last to the design but the machine stops to let you know that it is coming up as it requires a change of thread. Occasionally the message 'not enough storage available' will pop up but i would just repeat the process. Ever since then it has been smooth sailing and i can honestly say that I love this machine. I don't mean to be a downer about this problem but i just want people to be aware that this issue might arise and a solution is there for them.Overall, I do not regret my purchase at all and am super excited to create more designs.
