I purchased the NQ3700D mainly for the larger space for machine quilting, but then I got hooked on the embroidery! The machine goes from one to the other without any issues. Really enjoy experimenting and trying new techniques with the sewing side as well as the embroidery side.

This is the embroidery edition of a machine I had w/o the embroidery unit. It does very good work, and switching out is easy from machine to embroidery. I love the fact that it has the SAME hoop attachment as my Luminaire, so I didn't have to invest in my magnetic hoops. She hums along and is quiet. I got her for my 2nd location because I make 5x7 in the hoop mug rugs. The largest hoop size is 6x10, which really is perfect for quilting.I love everything about this machine, except for ONE thing, which is why it doesn't get a 5* review. The slide on sewing table SHOULD have been included. Very disappointing to find I had to purchase it separate..... For the money (and yes, Brother machines are value priced) I feel a sewing table attachment should have come with it. ... I bought 3700D. It is a great little machine for the price. I love the way I can send designs from my computer. The sewing part is so quiet also. Hoop size. 6 by 10 is good for most designs. I would highly recommend this machine.
One quirk, If you bring a design that you have modified, the machine will say the memory is full. After a google search, I learned to go in to the text area and add a "Space" to the design. Then for some reason it will load your design. Weird. Other than that, it has been a good machine. Favorite part is not having to cut jump stitches.
Would be a 5 if I can connect to the Artspira app. I can connect to Wi-Fi but I can’t get my machine connected. Doesn’t show registration for Artspira. Other wise I love everything about this machine. I figure someone will help he connect.

This machine is so easy to use and has amazing features! I love the built in embroidery designs and the ability to use the Artspira app. It does an amazing job of sewing and has several fun features to use when quilting. There are some designs that require a learning curve; such as the ones that stitch out sideways and backwards! But, it is certainly worth the time to learn!My eight year-old granddaughter loves learning to sew on this machine and stitching out the beautiful built in Disney designs! This machine gives a professional look to your projects while being easy to operate.
I've had my new machine for about 4 months now. I am still working on using all the nice features this machine offers. I love the quilting stitches that it offers as I applique and do small projects. I haven't really gotten too deep into the embroidery part of the machine but am slowly advancing there. I would like to see more training videos for this product. Maybe they are out there and I don't know about it but have found some on YouTube. I am still exploring but I am already in love with this machine!
While I did receive compensation for this review, my opinions are my own and I am providing an honest unbiased review.The NQ3700D is a delight to use for sewing and embroidery, the features in this machine make using it a pleasure. When sewing the pivot feature makes quilt piecing a breeze, I can chain piece so easily. It will sew multiple layers I can add the binding to a quilt without any skipped stitches. The embroidery has a 6x10 inch hoop, so I can do larger embroideries and it cuts the jump stitches, such a time saver. Lots of great built-in embroideries. This machine has been a great addition to my sewing room.
