I am having fun using my new Label Maker for my personal use. It is one that I wish I had when I taught. It came with instructions which are easy to follow, but I have chosen to follow instructions from Brother online. Lots of choices to make with letters, numbers and symbols, etc. The first choice I needed to make was how to conserve tape. The chain print is a must for me and very easy to use, Choice of the size of print is appreciated by older eyes. Although I don't actually "need" all the bells and whistles available, I look forward to learning how to use all of them. I'm very satisfied with my purchase!

It has a broad range of features to draw on in addition to all the additional things that you can do when connected to a computer. Really good looking output. Nice selection of labeling tapes.The biggest thing that I would fault this label maker on is that it has not wireless support. Wired connection only. I realize that if I would to spend almost twice as much that I could have bluetooth connection to a phone. Unfortunately, that also means the loss of connectivity to most computers since there is not wired option. At the price I paid, bluetooth of wifi connectivity should be included in the product.

I liked the original P-Touch Brothers 1" label maker but they replaced with a complicated version. I bought this because made larger labels, but would not recommend this P-Touch label maker because screen broke within 6 months and could not get a replacement through Office Depot with receipt. I called Brothers, the sales person was very nice but told me needed to go through Office Depot, but they will not replace. Found there is no one year warranty through Brothers if buy elsewhere and not even sure you can return/replace if buy through Brothers online, read policy first. If buy Brothers products recommend going through Costco has better retun policy.

I have owned Brother P-touch machines for years & they are the best. I've even gifted my older children with them! Very easy to use & love all the options, however I saw this PT-D410 at the store & when it stated I could USB to my computer - I was sold. I have a Mac & it is SO easy to use. I've created several labels just testing it & I'm sure I'll create many more. My home was organized before, but because of the ease of use of this, I will be even more organized. Love it!L
This was a replacement for a previous Brother P-touch label maker. It works great. The only negative to me was the previous one had an automatic label cutter. This one requires you to manually cut the label before and after printing. The software is easy to use and provides all the tools you need to make labels the way you want. I would recommend the 3/4" label size, you can get more on the label.

The Brother company makes great label makers. I have this one for home use. It has a lot of great features and is perfect for my needs . They last forever . One thing I would suggest since this isn’t something that is used frequently, Take the batteries out when your not using it . My batteries leaked ( they were even a good brand of battery ) Now I just keep the batteries in a little baggie and tape it to the bottom of the label maker.
I love this label maker. It does everything that I was looking for. I especially like the ability to design the labels from the computer. I really like the templates they have on there and the wide variety. It also makes it easier to preview the label on the computer. One thing I wish this label maker had was a backlight on the screen because it can be hard to see sometimes. Overall, it does a great job and is easy to navigate.

The price range for the different models was significant. I quickly chose what I thought was basically like my old one. After downloading the software I tried to use the features through the computer. At that point I realized I had gotten A WHOLE LOT MORE than I thought!
