I can put a label on a two inch pot and move the label to the next pot as the plant grows. The adhesive stays tacky even years later. On plastic and glazed ceramic pots, the adhesive leaves no residue behind.If you still want to use plant stakes, you can just apply your Ptouch label to the stake, and you will have a stake that will not rub off or fade as ink or pencil will.I also use my labels to mark bottles and jars when I mix up garden chemicals. Poisonous mixtures can be marked with a warning label printed on red tape.You can use Ptouch tape almost anywhere you need a label, or just to leave directions. My Ptouch labeler is about ten years old now and seems to be in just as good shape as ever. If anything were to happen to it, I would replace it Immediately. It is just too useful not to have ready and available at all times.

Printer was worst purchase I ever made. Would not keep the set up in its memory, tried to get service from the store I bought it from and they said a charge of $50.00 dollars to look at it. Called Brother few times for set up instructions and they where not what I would say helpful. This is a superb and top of the line tape for labeling machines. I've been using it for over 12 years. I've never had a problem with this tape crumbling or splitting even if it's just been sitting idle in the labeling machine for several months. It also holds the color very well without fading or smearing. This is a quality product.
