you can't beat a buff . probably the most versatile bit of kit you'll have on you on a solo or multi day trek. the uses are wide and varied I think most hikers/trekkers will have one . if your reading this and don't have one then you probably need one.i lost my hat on top of a mountain I was staying on over Christmas ,wind chill -8/9 on a weather app , thank god I had my buff it proper saved me.

Buff it Out in any Colour

These Buffs are truly amazing. I have several in many different colors and wear them all year round in different textures depending on the season. While they are designed to be "one size fits all" I have found them to often be sized differently whereas some of tighter or looser. They are great wind protectors and incredibly for giving you that extra layer of protection from the sun on the head and neck. Looking forward to more new colours!

Comfortable neck warmer

I bought this partly as a scarf and partly as a covid face mask. It is truly seamless; the ends are unfinished, cut fabric that does not fray. Since nobody has stitched a seam it looks quite expensive for what it is; a length of cloth cut from a tube. I wouldn't describe it as a tight fit. Perhaps they are tighter than they used to be. The fabric is soft, thin and stretchy. I find it is best to turn half of it inside-out to give the folds more bulk, making it more comfortable. This also helps it stay over my nose when used as a mask, the folded edge being uppermost.

Extremely Versatile

A Buff / neck gaiter is not something you think you need until you try one. After you do, you’ll be hooked. Currently using it during winter for longer walks. Keeps your neck warm and can be quickly converted into a makeshift face mask or balaclava when the wind picks up. As some have said, this particular version is a bit thinner with a lot of stretch, making it better suited for spring/summer/fall. A ‘polar’ or merino Buff would be a better choice if you are using it primarily for winter activities.

Great quality

Well, Buff is known for creating buffs that are comfortable, warm but breathable at the same time. It's length is just nice, which allows me to cover my nose and neck. Personally, where I'm from, it's way too hot to wear on warmer days. but for those cooler days, I whip this out and i'm good to go. I'd say it's great for all activities and can be worn different ways.

I like it a lot

Finally bought one. I’ve had a wool neck warmer from smart wool for a while and really liked it. This one is really nice, soft and stretchy. It’s really versatile because of its length, some others are much shorter. It dries quickly and breaths really well.

Kinda cool

First time trying out a neck gaiter, to have around as a backup non-medical mask when out and about. Not officially recommended by either Buff or public health officials—cotton purpose-made masks are the best option—but it’s still better than nothing. Plus, having it hanging around my neck means I won’t lose it, and it looks better. Like all masks, wash it daily.Being new to neck gaiters, one thing I noticed was the small nicks and tears on either end of the tube. Buff says this is a normal result of their manufacturing process and it shouldn’t lead to further fraying or tearing - time will tell. Still, a little worrying and disappointing at this price point. Would have expected a cleaner cut.

Love them!

I purchased 2, the bandana style for myself, and solid black for my husband. We both love them, and how versatile they are. We live in Northern Ontario, and the wind and cold can bite your face quickly. Even though these are lightweight, when they're stretched over your face as a balaclava, they shield you from the elements, and keep your face warm. When not in use, they're so compact that you can stuff them in a pocket, or wear them comfortably around your neck. Because they're lightweight, I have been able to wear mine to cover bad bedhead when I go to the gym, and I don't get overheated. Give it a quick wash afterwards, and good to go!I'm glad I finally got these! I've been looking at them off and on for a long time. I never want to be without my buff now.

Really pleased ...

I ordered this to use instead of a face mask (they make me breathless, whereas with this I can breath better and pull it down easier if I need to).The item itself is really attractive. It’s not a natural fibre so it’s not as easy to wear as their merino wool ones. But it’s machine washable and much cheaper too.The product was on sale so I got myself a real bargain.Delivery was excellent as was communication regarding dispatch etcI would buy the item again and from this shop too.Great experience.

Versatile and well made

I’ve had a buff for years and my wife wanted one. It’s high quality, well made, and easy to care for. Just throw it in the wash with clothes. It’s quick drying and cool enough to wear in summer for sun shade and sweat absorption, but also functional in winter (I wear mine skiing as a low-bulk neck warmer and to reduce windchill on my face). My only complaint would be how cold and wet it gets while wearing it over the mouth in winter, but no way to avoid that besides having a breathing hole like a balaclava... it also works well as a hair band.
