Best Option for Twins, Incredibly Well Made

I did a lot of research prior to placing an order, and found the Bumbleride to be the best option. While there are a lot of double strollers on the market, only a few actually have all the necessary features for twins (as opposed to 2 children of different ages). The fact that the Indie Twin was a side-by-side stroller that also accommodated 2 bassinets was the deciding factor. When it arrived, the first thing my husband said when putting it together was, "This is a really well made stroller, you can tell it's high quality." The instructions are clear and easy to follow. Maybe in the next model for future twin parents? Overall, we're very happy with our purchase, and would highly recommend this stroller to other families.

We spent lots of time researching double strollers when we found out baby #2 was on the way. We go on tons of walks and needed a smooth ride for bumpy sidewalks, but also wanted something that wouldn’t be too bulky for outings. This stroller is IT. It’s a dream to push and maneuver, but not too wide for doorways and folds easily for the trunk. It’s hard to find an all-terrain stroller with a large basket for easy access to diaper bag, but this one is huge. We also love that it works for infants without any extra attachments needed. And it’s beautiful! It’s a bit heavy when folded, but that’s a small price to pay for all its other features. Highly recommend!

The Indie Twin has a lot of nice features that the Bob does not but it falls flat in comparison when it comes to performance. We love the adjustable footrest, big canopies, and big cargo pocket but the stroller has some serious flaws and unfortunately we cannot return it so we must contact Bumbleride about the warranty. Firstly, the brake pedal on the Indie Twin is badly placed and difficult to engage and disengage. The pedal is designed for you to push up/forward to disengage the lock and down/back to lock. Because the pedal is long and flat, you have to push your foot very far forward to disengage the brake. It's awkward to do, and the position of the pedal makes it a lot harder to do since it is right under the cargo bag where there is no space to push your foot forward. This causes you to put a lot of pressure on the pedal to use the brake, and resulted in the metal holding it to bend. This concerns us because it is the same metal used throughout the stroller's frame and while it appears lightweight, it also appears frail. Why would you use metal on the frame of a jogging stroller that couldn't handle stress? We don't use this stroller more than 1-2 times per week and we have only had it for less than 2 months. The brake pedal issue discourages us from using it because we are worried about the safety of our children. If the mental is bent there, what does it say about the rest of the frame? The brake pedal on the Bob does not have this problem. The welds are sloppy and the frame is so much less sturdy that our Bob. The Bob can handle being tilted up with both children in it to get it up over a curb (which requires you to put some downward pressure on it at the handles)-but the Indie Twin can't even do that with just a 17 lb baby in it. If you try, you just end up pushing down on the frame and worrying about bending it. Paint has even started to peel on it. For the price of this stroller ($1000 with tax!!) it should be much higher quality and we are very disappointed. Money is tight in the current climate, and we thought we were investing in a quality stroller that would last us years. From the way things are going it does not look like that will be the case.

Twin 8 week old boy and girl.Wanting to be more active we decided to get this stroller. My wife and I are incredibly pleased with the build quality and all the features. First, the stroller rolls so smoothly that our twins fall asleep quickly. Setting up the stroller in infant mode is easy but the only issue that I have is that the stroller won't fold down properly after setting the stroller in infant mode. I wish this part were more convenient but in a couple of months I won't worry about it. The hoods for the kids are Huge and it has an extra piece that you can pull out even more. So, if your kid gets sunburned easily, you can really make sure they are covered nicely. There is also lots of ventilation outlets in infant mode. Another item that I thought was cool, The front wheels lock so when you are running, there is a lot more stability. The Stroller will also out stroll you in a down hill so just be careful.Overall I really like the stroller. I'm sure i'll get many miles of walking and jogging with my kids with me.

So, I'm not the type of person who purchases big ticket items like this on a whim. It fit my Stanley cup perfectly! The stroller pushes like an absolute dream. Such a smooth ride for my boys. And the quality can't be beat. The fabric is durable and easy to clean. The frame is very sturdy and well made.If you're on the fence about the Indie-twin, don't hesitate. It's truly incredible. I can't say enough good things about it!

This stroller is a smooth ride on all terrains that we’ve tried so far which includes grass, the woods, and the street. My baby always falls asleep in it.We’ve only had the bob stroller double, and the straps over time broke off so we decided not to get that one again. But I’ve had about every brand of single stroller on the market. This one beats basically all of them (graco, Nuna, doona, city jogger) in terms of maneuverability and durability on all different terrains. My only complaint is that it’s very heavy. I think that’s any double stroller though. But you can both collapse and open it easily, which is nice.I’m very happy with this stroller and would recommend to anyone.

We love our indie twin! I wanted a true jogging stroller but I wanted one I was sure was free from harmful chemicals like PFAS. Bumbleride is the only option I felt confident in the safety of materials but the indie twin isn’t a true jogging stroller. (It’s a hybrid) so I drug my feet on purchasing. I tried to make our single stroller work and wear the baby but if you’ve ever tried this you know it only works for like a week until your baby is over 10 lbs then it’s terrible! We also tried letting the 3 1/2 year old walk but if you’ve ever done this you know it’s not easy! I just wanted to go for a peaceful walk/ run without having to worry my kid was going to run into the street or get hit by a cyclist on a crowded trail. She loves riding next to her sister and I get to go on walks and jogs with them both safely strapped in. We tried it out on the town lake trail in Austin last week and it was such a smooth ride! I cannot recommend enough! My kids were so happy and content and I got to listen to podcast uninterrupted. Win win for the whole family!

Prior to making the purchase, I noticed that there were some color choices that were out of stock so I emailed to ask when my color of choice would be back in stock; when I was told that it wasn’t going to be back in stock for several months, I was offered a price match to the one that I actually preferred, since the ones left to choose from were slightly higher in price than the one I originally wanted. An invoice was then sent right over because I let them know that I needed the stroller right away! So I settled for a different color, but at the same price of the one that I originally wanted! My twins absolutely enjoy love riding in the stroller and I can’t help but to think that it’s because it’s all of the materials are soft and cozy…the girls love to nap in it! The push of this this is like a dream… it almost drives itself and that’s why I’m sure they’ve included the wrist strap as a feature! My husband is about 6 ft 3 and that adjustable handle bar is such a plus! The wide basket that goes under the stroller fits all of my necessities and some extras. Going through doorways with this side-by-side double stroller has also been for the most part pretty easy. The wheels really help make the stroller ride effortlessly, especially on uneven terrain. The stroller is moderate in weight. I see as a good thing because I don’t want to put my babies in anything flimsy so I don’t mind how the stroller is not super lightweight Gives me a sense of security. The Twin Double Indie is secure and is going to last until my babies grow out of it! I’m pretty sure that I feel confident enough to say that in the near future should anything go wrong with the stroller, I could reach out to BumbleRide and that they would help me, because their customer service has been awesome, even prior to me having made a purchase I already felt like family!

This is an awesome stroller! It's such a smooth ride and very comfortable for my 2 year old and 8 month old. It easily fits through regular doorways which is a huge plus. I love the adjustable handle and large basket storage. The seats adjust up and down easily, although I do wish the seat could be a little more upright when in its highest position. Even at it's highest point my 2 year old is still fairly reclined.Only giving 4 stars because I would love it if when folded it sat upright as opposed to be having to lay on it's side. Not a huge deal but it is a rather bulky stroller and takes up a lot of space even when folded. Also, I would love to see more strollers with zip covers for the basket like the Thule.

Worth it
7 September 2024

Rides so smooth, easy to maneuver with one hand should you want to be drinking coffee or helping a biking toddler, and very comfortable for babes. I would caution that my taller, older toddlers have to slump to fit under the canopy and there is a lot of bulky canopy fabric when you pull it back. Also of note, the two seats are fairly separated, so the kids have their own space (not necessarily bad but my kids like to interact) and it's heavier than my cheaper double jogging strollers. It is however so very pretty! Although an investment, if you plan to be outside a lot, or out for older siblings' events, I would 10/10 recommend and wish I had bought with babies 1 and 2 versus 5 and 6. It's clearly better than competitors for ease of use and comfort for kids.
