I bought this a few days after I bought YSL's Black Opium Le Parfum because I wanted something similar, but not as nauseating for hotter days. The sweet smell this has is definitely similar, on me at least (maybe my skin just likes vanilla), so if you like that one I think you'd enjoy this one, and vice versa. I will say it does initially feel like the sweetness is a bit much for hot days, but it does become really light after you give it a little to fade. I think it's kind of just the nature of fragrances with vanilla notes, so I'd still recommend it for hot days if you don't mind that. The opening is mostly lime and pepper, but the vanilla is quickly apparent, and rounds out the scent. This is by no means a sharp lime. Given those notes, its hard to really imagine the experience of the scent, and Ive found that what it evokes is more important to me than the notes. It’s strong but not overbearing and it lasts on him all day and into the night. This gives off major, “I’m a sexy grown and confident man with money” vibes. It almost reminiscent of aqua di gio without the overwhelming sweet notes, it has a little sweetness but this is a well rounded cologne. I have found myself even spraying a spritz on myself because the smell is just hypnotic. Definitely puts me in some type of mood when I smell this! I recently switched my daily fragrance to Brit with the change of season. Now that it’s Fall, but I live in a hot climate, I like the freshness of the citrus to keep my fragrance lighter, but the sweetness and depth of Brit to be more grounded than my previous summer fragrance. I smell fresh citrus initially, that eventually fades to a sweet almond. The scent lasts through the day for me, but could be refreshed midday. I like the chunky substantial bottle with distinctive Burberry plaid also.

I will admit it this is not my signature scent, I get alot of these testers to try out. I didnt end up repurchasing this one because of the longevity and I have perfumes that I like more. Honest review, this smells sooooo beautiful, like vanilla and musk, very feminine and elegant. The longevity is not that bad to be honest could last you half a day a little bit more but ive had perfumes that last an entire day and you can still smell them on you clothes. This is a bit more subtle, which some people actually like. It is pricey but honestly still more affordable than other brands. I recommend it for sure. I love this perfume but not my absoluteeee favorite

It’s like a huge warm hug in a bottle. This could be potentially someone’s signature scent and I will not be mad at it. This fragrance garners compliments and rightfully so. It’s not an overpowering fragrance, so it is workplace friendly. key notes: vanilla, sugared almond and icy pear

Fake. Don’t buy!!

DO NOT BUY unless you want a fake perfume that does not last. I have been wearing Burberry Brit for over 10years and this one smells totally different and fades minutes after being sprayed. The metal ring should be etched and is not etched on the bottle I received. Also the plaid print is clearly a dead give away that it’s not Burberry quality. I guess that’s what I get for thinking I got a good deal. I’ve always had good luck finding a bottle at Tj Maxx and Marshals and was hoping that would be the case with Walmart. Such a disappointment!

Feminine fragrance

The item arrived in great condition. I am pretty picky when it comes to perfumes. This time I purchased based on the reviews without knowing the scent at all. To be honest I didnt like it at the first spray. But next day I decided to give it another chance and realized the fragrance is beautiful, feminine and yes “sheer”. I am not sure if it is authentic because like other reviewers mentioned, the scent doesnt last long. I tested it by spraying behind my ears, one each, then one on my chest, one on the wrist (after the shower). Moved around inside the house for a couple of hours, no cooking involved, and I barely smell anything after that. knockoff

this is 100% a knockoff. I've worn this perfume for 10 years, and I can spot a fake. first off the packaging has the wrong font. the true fragrance uses a serif font and this one is san serif.. plus its not printed on the package in the right orientation. once opened, youll notice that the bottom of the bottle has no engravings, only a sticker. Straight away fake. lastly, the perfume logo should be printed on the silver cap of the spray piece. there's nothing there. if you're kine with it being a fake, it smells fine. i just dont think it will last all day. added pictures with a true bottle for comparison.
