London is a floral fragrance created by Dominique Ropion and Jean-Marc Chaillan in 2006. It opens with notes of honeysuckle, tangerine, and rose, followed by jasmine, tiare flower, clementine, and peony. The base notes include musk, sandalwood, and patchouli. I really like this beautiful fragrance; it is white-floral, crisp-fresh, citrusy, bright, and invigorating. The fragrance lasts quite long and is not cloying. For me, it is suitable for white shirts and the office. I will definitely buy it again when my bottle runs out. The packaging is beautiful. There's a slight resemblance to Gabrielle by Chanel a little bit.

What I appreciate most about Burberry London is that it is an attractive, strong and masculine yet surprisingly pleasant fragrance. My wife understands me so well to pick a gout scent for me. This perfume bottle worth the money that you should own. The scent opens with a bit of spicy, hot pepper and cinnamon. As the spices mellow, the appearance of a dry wood and delicate amber makes the perfume attractive. The blend of lavender along with black pepper and smoky ingredients enhances the spicy Oriental flavor. The overall result is an expensive, masculine, elegant scent that is very masculine.

I seriously LOVE Burberry. I have scarfs, hair accessories, bags, clothes, makeup, jewelry shoes and my ultimate: a trench coat. So, of course I’m going to have their fragrances. My favorite one is London. From the bottle: the iconic Burberry check fabric wrapped around the glass bottle to the modern, sophisticated, yet fresh and warm scent inside. This is a fruity floral with key notes of dark berries, jasmine and musk- amber. It has gentle top notes of rose and honeysuckle and goes deeper with tiare flowers, jasmine and peony. This also contains some of my favorite Solar notes of Sandlewood, musk and patchouli, which add the subtle warmth that keeps it from being too fruity or floral and give it an elegance that isn’t “stuffy”. It’s an elegance for any age, imo and not a fragrance that is too “mature” like Chanel N5, for example. I think this is perfectly balanced with fruit, florals and musk and it’s addictive. I’ve been buying this since the early 2000’s and never get bored with it. The silage and projection are mildly strong and this has great longevity. It lasts a good eight hours on me. I highly recommend this beautiful fragrance- I think it’s completely underrated.

Christmas type vibe. Warm and cozy. Sweet tobacco and cinnamon. Burberry London is an overall pleasant fragrance for men that is readily available for very affordable prices. It has about average performance/longevity, but with it being an EDT it does project fairly well. While there are many other fragrances that have a similar vibe - PdM Herod, as an example - this fragrance is a much more cost effective bottle with very minimal loss of quality. This is definitely a cooler weather fragrance that is best suited for the holiday season. Top notes - cinnamon, lavender and bergamot. Middle notes - leather and mimosa Base notes - tobacco, oakmoss, guaiac wood (balsamic/vanilla accord) and opoponax (sweetness and warmth)
Oh how much I love this fragrance! My wife gifted this to me long time ago and since then I have been restocking this perfume. The scent is rich and spicy but not too overpowering, I call it a perfect office goers perfume. I used to wear it daily to my office and business events. It has hints of leather and tobacco with notes of bergamot which I really like. This is an EDT, not too strong and starts to wear off after a while. Overall I like how effortlessly stunning this perfume is. I definitely recommend this perfume. It is a must have!
This sensual scent brings me back to crisp, autumn days. The woodsy cedar notes are an absolute perfect complement to any cool day or night. It’s classified as a “floral fruity” scent, but on me, it definitely pulls more of the warm vanilla and cedar notes. The top notes are fruity upon opening, with peach, pear, apricot, black currant, and green apple. The middle notes are more floral with jasmine, moss, and sandalwood. Finally, the base notes (which on me are the most noticeable and last the longest) are a warm inviting vanilla, fresh cedar, and musk. This is such a beautiful fragrance. If you love cedar, you’ll love this!
When the leaves start turning, I know it's time to break out my other colognes for the colder temperatures. When I wear Burberry London, a part of me is taken back to the 1800s, smoking a pipe in a room filled with the sound of billiards cracking. Wearing this as a younger man, I'm often told I smell like someone's grandfather. Spicy, rich, warm smelling with notes of cinnamon and tobacco - perfect for a night out in the colder months, wearing this in the summer might be considered chemical warfare in some states.
Burberry London is a very nice woody and spicy fragrance. It has notes of lavender, cinnamon, guaiac wood, and oakmoss. Its a very holiday-esc fragrance, with the scent being similar to pine trees. It projects very well with it catching attention to most people in the room. You can find it for half the retail price at discounters so the value is great for a designer fragrance. This one always turns heads, its definitely unique.
I believe this one is authentic, bought 2 one from Walmart and another from a major trusted makeup company starts with a S and they are identical boxesThe perfume is a white floral, so make sure that you like white florals before you buyI would say it could be dated for some wearing it, but I like perfumes like that because a good smell is a good smell-it’s just probably going to be something you remember from years agobut I will repeat you must like florals, and you must like heavy white floralIt is a clean floral and not too loud in my opinion
White florals are the hardest notes to balance in a perfume without smelling like babywipes or cheap air freshener in a gas station bathroom. It's all about BALANCE, and it takes a lot of practice to master. There are billions of white floral perfumes out there, but few can actually master florals and musk. Lots of perfumists carelessly slap on sandalwood to tame the pukeyness of pure florals, but if there's too much sandalwood it just smells like soap. Musk is another tactic a lot of perfumists use to tone down the other scents, but if you have too much musk it can smell like men's cologne or straight up powder.Burberry London nailed it, and I'm surprised this perfume isn't as popular as Chanel No 5 (which is downright awful and granny babywipish IMO). The floral element is there but it's got a nice "checks & balances" system of it's own. The jasmine, honeysuckle, is perfectly tamed by the musk and sandalwood in this case. There is also clementine, which adds just a TOUCH of fresh citrusness without smelling sweaty like pure citrus perfumes do. Patchouli helps keep the intensity without being hippie/incense.The strongest floral in this perfume is the honeysuckle, and after a few hours of wear I can catch a whiff of actual honey. Now, the only downside to this is that after you've been out and about honey scents start to oxidize into a rotten scent that almost smells like soy sauce.Nevertheless, the overall picture of Burberry London is good. For those of you who need a poetic description: think classy girls wearing trench coats on a sexy London or New York City night (stereotypical elegant London that we fantasize about, that is). This perfume can easily be classified as fresh, floral, or musky. It's all of those. More on the cool side than the warm side.Similar scents (but by no means identical): YSL Libre (more vampy, citrusy and fresh than Burberry) and Michael by Michael Kors (warmer, spicier than Burberry with a stronger kick to the nose)
