My initial thoughts on these loppers was that they well made, comfortable to use and work well. But after a month or so of use I have found that the serrations on the anvil side have damaged the blade edge and it will need re-honing. My concern is that if it keeps happening it will significantly reduce the life of the blade.

Ok to use, I have another brand which i cant read but they are excellent light easy quick to extend. Botanex are not quick you need two hands to adjust!
The best loppers I've ever used. I love B&B tools. But be warned the after-sales support is poor; they will not supply replacement blades.

Solidly built lopper from the UK with easily adjusted handle length. IT cuts well. We bought these after the handle of a Chinese made product bought from hardware chain broke on its third session in the garden.
