I absolutely love Burt's Bees Lip Balm. It's my favorite kind of lip balm to use, and pretty much the only kind I like to use. I got a Burt's Bees gift set for Christmas and was included. It's 100% natural, which I love and is also cruelty-free, which is important to me. It's made up of all natural ingredients such as: beeswax, coconut oil, sunflower seed oil, lanolin, honey, rosemary leaf extract, soybean oil, and canola oil. This lip balm is very moisturizing and I love everything about it, but had to give it 3⭐ strictly based on taste. I just can't get passed the taste, I think it's awful. It's supposed to taste like honey I guess, but I much prefer the original peppermint. I’ve been using Burt’s Bees lip balm for years. Every so often I’ll end up with a tube of balm from another brand, and all it does is remind me why Burt’s is the best. Others feel waxy on the lips or seem to disappear moments after application; Burt’s feels soft and smooth upon application, and it lasts. Sometimes, during the very coldest and driest days of winter, I’ll switch to one of the ultra conditioning balms (also Burt’s, of course). The rest of the year, this is my go-to. Oh, and about the flavor…I like most of the Burt’s flavors, but this one is my favorite. I miss the original

I've used Burt's Bees for years, enjoying the original formula and taste the most. Eventually, the original flavor was dropped and random flavor profiles took over. I've tried several and seem to hover on Cucumber, but only because I can't get the original, basic flavor. How excited I was when I saw an offer on this site for the "Original" Burt's Bees lip balm. I ordered two packages of four sticks each. Sadly, I was "Bait and Switched" on this purchase. It wasn't the original product, at all. Just peppermint, which I can get anywhere. When Burt was part of the show, the original and, to me, the best balm taste resembled a slightly perfumed raw wax. Not peppermint. This purchase ended up being a waste of money. I want the tin lip balm please!

I enjoyed the lip balm in the tin for over 10 years. Unfortunately it was no longer available in Canada & we are not able to order off the US site in Canada. All we are able to get is the stick lip balm that I do not like. It is wax like & does not work as well as the ointment type from the tin. For a man, the tin is much better to carry in a pocket. Plus, with the stick in my pocket I have had it turn & get jammed into the lid & break off. With the restrictions from the past couple year I have not been able to go to the US & have not been able to purchase the tins. I have looked into Amazon sellers, but they say their tins are not sealed so I don’t trust the product they are selling. Are the tins still being made? Are they still available? What Happened????

I have been using this product for quite some time now and recently used up the last of the tube I had of this. I had a four pack on hand as a backup and I just opened it yesterday. I am SO DISAPPOINTED! What happened to this product??? It smells and tastes really strange. I cannot even describe it. Just really weird and BAD. I called the company to make them aware of this and to find out if they changed the formula but the woman who I spoke with assured me that they had NOT changed the formula? I have no idea what is going on with this product but I am extremely disappointed and given the number of similar complaints I am seeing I find it difficult to believe that nothing has changed.
