I spray this stuff on my doggy between baths to keep him fresh, since he's a house dog. It has a great smell and lasts for days and is perfect for when he's been running around outside for a little while and comes back in smelling a just little funky (I have a sensitive nose). I've tried similar products but his one is probably my fav!

i LOVE the scent of this! however, on my dog, it isn’t super noticeable. we use it right after her bath for an extra smell good boost, but i don’t pick it up when i give her a sniff. she is small (chiweenie) and i give her three to four spritzes. i will have to try using it between baths.

Burt's Bees is a brand that I trust. I love that Burt's Bees is a cruelty free brand. Burt's Bees Deodorizing Dog Spray retails around $10 for a 10oz bottle. It has a nice fresh fragrance. I use it on my 3 yr old male Beagle/Lab and my 2 yr old male German Shepherd/Husky as well as their bed.

Barely any Apple Scent

I normally really like Burt’s Bee products. Love the cat shampoo. And so do my cat’s.Love the dog shampoo.Love the natural products for dog itching pray. My puppy has allergies. It really helped me out last summer.But this freshen up your dog spray. Doesn’t have any visible apple scent to it. Barely any herb scent to it either. I used it a week after my dog was shampooed. To help stretch out space for his next shampoo. Due to cool weather. I wait for a worm day. Granted, my little Pug 9 months old. Didn’t smell bad by that time. So maybe it does help in cutting back any bad odder. But there isn’t any noticeable apple & herb scent to it.I’ll continue to use it in cool weather. Just to cut back any doggie odder. My dog isn’t offended by it. That’s a plus.

I’ve bought this spray in other scents and it keeps my dog fresh between baths. It’s especially helpful for just after doggy daycare when your mutt smells like playtime.But, this scent is the worst. It smells plain bad and doesn’t degrade into a neutral scent very quickly.

Not satisfied

so there's not much of a smell to this. which I normally like. as harsh smells usually irritate me. but it didn't seem to work as a deodoriser at all. very dissatisfied. especially for the price.

The Aftersmell

I have a guide dog for the blind, and therefore need to have a dog that smells good in public, in the office, in the grocery store, etc. I purchased this because I’d like many of the other items from this company. This spray provides a wonderful scent when it’s first applied, which lasts about four hours. Afterwards it becomes a bit of a not positive smell. One that is noticeable by people walking by. Therefore, I’m not really planning to purchase this item again.

I DISAGREE with all the naysayers. This product is great & does everything I want. No, the scent is not strong (thank you) but I def smell the apples & honey. It cleans my Yorkie’s coat nicely when massaged in & combed thru, leaving her hair soft but not soaked thru & with a light pleasant scent, which she actually seems to like. I use it more as a dry shampoo to refresh her coat between groomings & am not looking for some heavy duty doggie deodorizer to mask strong dog odor. The spray button can become clogged & appear to be broken but it’s not - if you rinse the spray button after each use (& then pop out any clog in the hole if it doesn’t respond when pressed), it will continue to work like new.
