I'm not one for chapstick or lip stick. My lips were dry and chapped. I had heard from the local health food store that Burt's Bees lip balm is a good product. I decided to give it a try. I have noticed my lips are no longer chapped, but instead are smooth to the touch. Burt's Bees Moisturizing Balm is an excellent product. One I will definitely purchase again.

This was a 4 pack of beeswax, vanilla bean, strawberry & coconut/pear flavors. Burts Bees lip balm is a nice texture and feels like quality - but at $14.79 for 4 ($3.69 each) it seems overpriced. I rcommend the product with the caveat - find a sale. Chapstick flavors at $2.19 each is better value
They were out of coconut pesr balm so I bought the whole pkg and tried giving away the rest. Kind of expensive for the one tube I wanted but no other brand works for me.
This Burts Bees set is everything. I love the Cucumber and mint moisturizing lip balm, It feels nice and soothing on the lips and keeps them moisturized. Great for the cold days ahead. The Vitamin E and Peppermint is another good one that treats the lips with care . It smells like peppermint and gives your lips a slight tingle, similar to a Plumping gloss or balm. I mainly buy Burt Bees lip balms because they are very effective and have saved my lips from many dry days and I noticed my lips getting softer.This product was reviewed on burtsbees.com
First, I only use Burt's Bees balms. I do not use lipstick or gloss. I can't stand anything that becomes sticky or tacky on my lips after a time. I also don't use balms that contain a drying agent --- you'd be surprised how many products (like Blistek) contain agents that are counterproductive to the reason you use the product in the first place!! I ADORE the Coconut/Pear and the Vanilla Bean "flavors" ... my two faves in the same set!?! WOW!! I also like the regular flavor and the one w/ the light green lid, but I can also give those as colleague gifts at Xmas if I decide to. I could buy this many times and I'm going to keep it in mind in case I need to fill out an order or hit a certain threshold in order to qualify for a freebie or a discount of some sort.
Finally I know which lip balm works best on my chapped lips. I have tried almost every brand and just wasn't happy with with either the texture,smell or price. I then discovered Burt's Bees and realized that I finally found what I was looking for. They smell wonderful, especially the vanilla scented one, but the smell is not too strong. Their texture is just soft enough but not too fatty and they last for a very long time without making your lips look greasy. I absolutely recommend!
I thought I'd love these, but they were just okay. They didn't dry my lips out or anything, and I liked all of the scents a lot. But I just didn't love these. I'd be fine with using them in a pinch, but I wouldn't get these again.
