It lasts a long time and isn’t overpriced. - The SMELL!!! This smells delicious, gently fruity but not artificial or abrasively scented, just subtle yummy deliciousness. - The packaging is pretty on my countertop (glass jar with a screw off plastic lid) and effective - the mask comes with a little spatula for the application so you don’t have to dip your fingers into the product and potentially contaminate it (wash and clean spatula after use). - You don’t have to use this product just as an overnight mask. When my lips are dry, I smooth some on during the day all the time, and it gives a satin/glossy moisturized finish. I also use this to prime my lips if I’m going to be wearing a lot of lip products that day. The instructions say to layer on the product and to wipe off the residue in the morning, but I don’t do this part - I find it has mostly soaked overnight and whatever product is left feels nice on my lips! I am a hardcore Vaseline girl, so when I was given this Burt’s Bees lip balm as a present, I wasn’t sure at first. However, I was pleasantly surprised. The scent is nice and subtle, and I do like the honey texture in the tube. As it is a more solid formula than what I am used to, when I put it on my lips, it wasn’t my favourite as I didn’t find it as moisturising as my usual Vaseline. I prefer a more liquid consistency for a lip balm as my lips feel more hydrated, but ultimately that’s just personal preference I guess.

I love this Burt's Bees lip balm with color. I hate lipstick as it is generally toxic and greasy and far too bright. Lipstick always dries out my lips and leaves an unattractive shadow when removed. This product is wonderful. It protects and conditions your lips while at the same time adding just a little color, especially for aging lips, which for some reason seem to become whitish, like hair, with time. It comes in many colors; you can experiment to see what is most becoming on you. I don't like the darkest one, but this color is my favorite. If I wear light colors I use peony, and there is a pretty peachy color, although it is not a good one for me. This does not last a long time; if you want long lasting you want to go with a natural lip stain, and then use this on top for conditioning your lips. I don't care that it doesn't last long. I just apply it again after eating or drinking a beverage as it would come off in any case because I am wiping my lips clean. It takes very little to cover and while a little pricey, one of these lasts me about a year. I have four colors and alternate them. I always have one in my purse and highly recommend this product. You can often buy them together on sale and get a great price.

Grapefruit is one of my favorite Burt’s Bees Lip Balm flavors. It’s lighter and applies easier than their original beeswax flavor. It was a pleasant citrus flavor and help my lips feel plump and hydrated. It’s a great apply-on-the-go solution for dry lips or regular maintenance.

There are a lot of lip balms out there, any many of them sound like they are going to moisturize and protect your lips, but honestly, so many of them fall waaaaaay short! Not this one. Burt's Bees is exceptionally good lip balm. You will really feel and see the superiority of this product when you start to use and and then realize how lousy some other brands are! There are a variety of flavors to choose from, and that is frankly just a matter of preference. Some flavors are tremendous and others, are just ok in my opinion but overall it is the performance of this product that makes me give it the stars!

My favourite

My absolute favourite of the BB lip balms. It has just the right consistency. Some balms are more dense and don’t go on smoothly. Not this one. It’s soft and smooth going on the lips and is very moisturizing. The taste and smell are wonderful too!

My top choice for daily use

Burt’s Bees Grapefruit Lip Balm is one of my favorites! It provides excellent moisture, even when using strong acne medications that severely dry out my lips. The grapefruit scent is delightful and not overwhelming, making it a pleasure to use daily. This lip balm has been a lifesaver for my lips, and I love how natural and effective it is.

I stock up on this lip balm! It's the only lip balm on the market I will buy. I LOVE the natural grapefruit. It's so refreshing and everyone around me loves the scent!
