Love the color and the quality of the boot for sure. The customer service on the other hand is what will make this purchase memorable. Bought these because I didn't like the performance of the Flows that I had previously purchased. Chat Online care turning into Red Carpet service with quick responses and great communication which got me a return in turn making this purchase. THEN visiting the Denver location while in town and had them heat molded along with insole recommendations. Super Happy with the experience.

Great boots. Feels very comfortable and well made. Can't wait to try them out next Winter. The color is a light grey, but I wish they were white instead though. Overall very satisfied with my purchase, and they look so cool with my board.

My feet professionally measured are 9 3/4 L and 10 R both bordering on EE width. I have been snowboarding for around 35 years and have always had to size up to get enough toe box room in my boot which put my in a size 11, which then put me in a bigger binding. That combo was terrible on a 153 as far as heel and toe drag. Now that burton is making wide boots I was able to go down in size and still get enough room in the boot to be comfy which then allowed me to drop to a medium binding. That combo has zero heel or toe drag. I can also ride all day without my feet going numb or hurting like they always have in other boots. This has been a real game changer. I did find the size 10 was a little tight but the 10.5 was perfect. so in my case i had to go up 1/2 a size. The step in with genesis bindings has been pretty amazing i have no complaints, only good things to say about the step on system.

Accurate size to normal shoes. Comfort right out of the box and I haven't even molded it to my feet yet. I have 3 days on these boots so far and I'm happy with this purchase. Good heal retention and feet stay warm, although I used them locally so not extremely cold weather but I'll test them in colder places and update my review if I find other positive or negative info.
As a 50+ year old rider who has been doing this since his 20's, I love my Step-Ons! They are responsive, super comfortable, and the system just plain works. And of course no more sitting on my soft tush strapping in - that's for young sissies. Off the lift and go! Now if you were thinking Step-Ons are only for old people, my 17 year old got a setup for Christmas, and he's hooked. Once he figured out these Photon boots are stiff enough you don't have to crank down the Boas like a tourniquet, he's sold on these super comfortable boots.
Very comfortable, Nice snug fit on the heel. Contrary to what I read everywhere about Burtons boots, they do run small. I usually wear a 9.5-10 and ended up after a few tries with 11.5 which I really wish were a 12 because they are just a tad tight still. Easy to get on, easy enough to walk around in, and awesome on the mountain.
30 days on these boots and I love the Step-On system. Overall, the boots have adequate stiffness for my liking. The mid strap seems unnecessary. I've tried it tight and tried it loose --> didn't really notice a difference.
Had the Rulers before these. What a difference. The first day a little stiff but as the day went on they got comfortable. The 2nd day like a glove. And the Boa system priceless. The ease of adjustment super easy. The step-on system rules!!!
The ankle strap makes a big difference compared to all the rest of the stepon boots I tried These are great I spent last weekend in knee deep powder and had no problems getting in and out
