Best gloves for the slopes

Great gloves for getting on the slopes in cold weather and snow. Waterproof outer with a pocket on back of hand for RFID lift ticket or hand warmers. Inner liner gloves to keep hands warm when not on the snow. Two inch straps to keep gloves tight and snug and the snow out. I've bought two sets in 3 years. Would highly recommend.

Excellent after 1 full day of skiing

Used these gloves for 1 day between 14 and 28 deg F with windgusts and snow machines on making icy and windy conditions for a much lower feels like temp. First off, the GoreTex in these gloves holds up to its reputation, the ice/snow from the snow machines stuck to everything and ev eventually would melt but my gloves on the inside didnt feel wet at all even once. Wore these without the liner and they are comfortable, but not that warm. My hands were cold but not super uncomfortably cold by lunch without the liner in. Put the liner in after going back out and it made a world of difference. My hands stayed warm the rest of the day even after the sun went down and temperature dropped significantly. Gloves that fit large hands.

Liked these Burton gloves that came with a slightly heavier pair of liner gloves. I purchased the extra Burton liners that are slightly lighter weight and they allowed me to fit, with the liners, in the gloves and have mobility. My hands are fairly thick, a size 14.5 ring finger and these fit where the Gordini were super tight. Unfortunately the wrist band is stretchy and my left glove got away on a lift... :{

Great gloves for those cold days!
18 September 2022

Great gloves all around. I've always been used to pipe gloves before because of the less restrictions. But since moving to Washington, it's alot more cold up here. These gloves work great! I've never had my hands get cold. Plus there's a little zipper on top to put hand warmers in them just in case, for those extra freezing days in the pow!Highly recommend!

Nice bargain glove but needs to be warmer.
6 February 2020

I am a snowboard instructor and needed a glove that would allow me to use my fingers to help kids figure out their rental boots and bindings on the hill. I got this glove because it was a good brand name, a good price and it had a liner. Coming from a mitten, the functionality of a 5 finger glove was great but the warmth left a lot to be desired. Even with the liner, on a 30 degree day my hands got cold. If I had to take my hands out of the gloves for any reason, they would not warm up once back in the glove. It seems like a high quality glove with a good cuff, strap, liner, and waterproofness, but it may be lacking a little in the warmth category. i would recommend it on 35+ days but not much colder.

No brainer and warm

I love that these have a pocket on the back of the hand that you can fit a lift card in. Each of the closures (at the wrist and up the forearm) secure tightly with bulky fingers, so there's no struggling to get your gloves on and off. I like the liners as well and the fact that they have sticky rubber on the palms so they either stick to the inside of the glove, or stick to your poles/whatever else you're holding. The only feature I wish these gloves had was a touchscreen fabric on at least one of the fingers, since my hands got cold taking them out to use my phone between runs to reconnect with friends. But literally gloves are supposed to keep your hands warm, and they do so amazingly, so these gloves are a no brainer for me. Not that warm
24 December 2020

Finger tips were frozen with in 20 minutes while using in 15 degree F weather even with the liners in. The liners are the other issue, they should have just built them into the glove. You can't take the glove off or put back on without separating the liner from the glove. It becomes way to complicated especially when your hands are cold. Also, if you are just using the main glove and have rough or damp hands the lining used acts like Velcro. If the liners were built in and they had some more insulation in the palm and finger tips they would be a 5 star glove.

The gloves might be great ... if you receive the full set advertised here
1 February 2024

The advertised gloves come with a pair of black liner gloves, as shown in the pictures (click on see all images). I've ordered the gray twice and once received a gray pair with no liners that weren't even the same stock number, and once received the correct stock number but no liner gloves. What do you have to do to purchased AND receive the ADVERTISED ITEM?

Too much hassle
29 January 2021

I lost my burton gloves I've had over ten years. Upon ordering these , these are definitely flimsier. Way less padding in the wrist area. These gloves are definitely a hassle. Too much going on with all the various straps and such. And there's a liner glove adding to the complexity of not losing your glove. And if you have a heat pad in the glove it's definitely difficult to get on. I'd spring for a larger size. It's not that great in keeping hands warm. However, it does a good job keeping them dry. They're not bad, but you need to quickly develop a routine in how you're going to manage these gloves, when to take off and put back on , where to keep liner and how to put them on quickly without dropping.

good glove; longish thumbs.
23 February 2023

I like this glove. Warm, wind- and waterproof, integrated wrist strap, removable liner glove. The only thing that isn’t quite working for me is thumb fit; I have more dead space in the thumb tip area than I do for my other fingers (or on my gloves from other brands). Not a deal-breaker for me—still my go-to glove this ski season—but if you are between sizes, definitely try them on if you can before making your choice.
